I Got A Free Hair Do!

My friend, Emily, received an offer for a free hair cut from her friend who is working at Toni & Guy saloon. She was also told to bring few friends along and she called Stephanie and I. The reason why they gave out free services was mainly for the new trainees to have hands on experience. Sound risky, right? Imagine, trainees cutting your hair. What if they accidentally cut off some part of my hair and I have to end up wearing a cap to college to hide my hair? But nevertheless it's good to look different once a while. :P

The saloon was located at Lot 10, Bukit Bintang. As usual, shops over there looks pretty classy and you would want to think twice about stepping in to those shops because you know pretty well that only slight chances of you purchasing something from there. Well, at least not as bad as places at KLCC or Star Hill. Over there, you don't even dare to walk near the door knowing that you can’t effort a thing. :P

We arrived at Lot 10 in the afternoon, right after college. There were few customers at the saloon and we had to wait for our turn. Emily went first because at that moment, there’s only one hair dresser available. So Stephanie and I had to wait for our turn. And frankly speaking, those trainees took ages to finish a hair cut. We got tired of waiting so we took a stroll in the mall and did some window shopping. About an hour later, Emily called and told i's our turn.

We went back there and had a chat with the hair dressers and they recommend us few styles and so on. I didn't want my hair to be short, so I told them to trim a little. After all, it’s a free hair cut so they have to cut it somehow. While Steph told them that she can go with anything.

Towards the evening, I was supposed to meet Maurice for a business talk and I was late because the hair dresser took 3 hours to get my hair done. I almost feel asleep half way through. But I did like what they did to my hair, it was curly but the curl didn't last because they did not put any cream to hold the curl. Steph hair was "WOW" and Emily one was pretty normal. Well, after that, I had to rush to the talk and Steph had to drive my car to Arena Green where she parked her car.

Sigh. What an interesting day...

Sorry, no pics of my hair. I didn't bring my camera that day.
