Jolly Good Time

Right after our IS paper, we all drove to a friend house at Subang USJ. With all the delays and waiting, we only arrived a quarter to 7. My friend’s place is only 5 minute drive from Summit USJ and the restaurant that we went to was few minutes walking distant from his house, such a convenient area to live in. I shouldn’t be complaining. The place where I’m living have petrol stations, wet market, night markets, shop lots, a shopping mall and bus stops that can take us to KLCC and KL town. Even better!! Although those places aren't as high class as Subang or Bangsar, I personally think its good enough. I should be grateful because I've been living there ever since I was a kid.

All of us were in our formal attire since we did not change, where else one of my friends has changed into casual attire. I cannot believe she would look so punk, a completely different person altogether. On normal college's days, her dressings are rather feminine. ;P

My friend took us to Flamin’ J Firehouse. Reading at the sign board in front of the restaurant, it stated "American food, American size... Now Malaysian price". Wow. American size? I doubt I can eat that much. Anyway, we have 5 guys to finish the leave over. Haha...

This is Flamin’ J’s Original Big Bertha, if I’m not mistaken.

The Fish & Chips was Thursday’s special, so it worth only RM10 which is RM3.90 off. We hanged around nearly 2 hours at the restaurant, eating and chit chatting. Yeah, we had fun. Frankly speaking, I still prefer Kenny Roger's Roaster. The meal at Flamin' J was nothing special.

----------

Next we decided to have supper at Petaling Jaya. We droved 3 cars there, driving from Subang USJ to Taman Megah, passing Kelana Jaya (to drop off a friend), Section 14 and Section 2. Man, RM15 of petrol gone just like that. We ended up at Ming Tien food court where a friend of mine wanted to try the Taiwaness sausages but unfortunately the store was closed. Then we suggested going Starbucks at Section 14. *Sigh* Got to drive all the way back to Section 14.

We were there until about 11.30pm because a friend on mine needed to be home by midnight. My mum called me while I was there, asking my whereabouts and told me that my dad was looking for me. Nothing serious. Usually my parents don’t mind me coming home late, just that I need to inform them my whereabouts and the time I will be arriving home. Besides, I don’t usually go out that often, only once in a blue moon when friends ask me out.

IS Exam

2 days ago, my bunch of friends has planned to go college as early as 8am to revise our studies. It turns out that only one of them arrived at 8am. I arrived at college at noon while the others came later. Man, my friend was pretty upset that we’ve broken our promise. *Thousand apologise*

As usual, we revised at the library. We used the discussion room without pre-booking it. Thank goodness the librarian did not stop us. Either way, there weren’t many students in the library during that hour. My goodness, my bunch of friends were making so much noise in the discussion room, so one of my friends and I came out of the discussion room and studied in the library instead. I could practically hear them from where I was sitting.

PCS Exam

I went to college early to do my final revision. Those friends that usually follow my car to college have no choice but to tackle along.

When I arrived at college, I went to the syndicate room at level 2 and thought my bunch of friends would be there. Instead one of them called and told me that they were at the library. I honestly prefer revising at the library. I can’t concentrate where there’s noise. I would end up listening to people’s conversation or noises around. So I decided to revise at the library.

Earthquake?

J: Did you feel it? Did you feel it? There... last night ah, about 12 midnight. Earthquake ah. About 10 minutes.

Me: No wor. I slept at 12.30am. I didn’t feel a thing. You sure or not?

J: Yes lah.

Me: So, what happened?

J: I was sitting in front of the PC and I felt like my whole body was shaking. Then I noticed the water in a cup was shaking too. So, I called up my sister and asked whether she felt the shake. And she told me, she felt it too.

Me: So, did you guys evacuate house?

J: Yes, we did. My neighbours evacuated their house as well.

----------

Me: I heard there was a earthquake. Did you feel it?

D: Got...

Me: So, what happened?

D: I was sitting in front of the PC, then all of the sudden, I felt dizzy. I thought I had a headache or something. But I saw my table shaking.

Me: And... and...??

D: You know lah, I live in a condominium and my house have this big pot outside the balcony. I saw it shaking. So I woke my parents up.

Me: What was their respond?

D: I told my mum about the pot shaking, but she said it was probably the wind.

Me: *Laughing*

D: I mean, how can such a big pot of be shaken by the wind.

Me: *Burst out laughing*

----------

Me: How about you? Did you feel the earthquake last night?

S: Yeah, yeah. I felt my chair was shaking. Then I look at my table, it was shaking too. So, I called up my sister and my sister told me she felt it too.

J: I didn’t feel a thing also.

S: Ya lah, I called you. You say you didn’t feel a thing. My friend who stays at Subang also can feel.

J: Huh? Don’t have wor.

Me: Eh, how come you didn’t call me? I didn’t feel a thing. Missed my once in a while time earthquake experience. Sigh. Why nobody call me wan? :(

I will leave with you a scripture from the Bible.

Mark 13:7-9 (New King James Version)
7But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet. 8For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and troubles. These are the beginnings of sorrows.

9"But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.

Lazing + Revising

Honestly, I was dozing away on the bed. I woke up half quarter before noon, then took my lunch, enjoying a bow of cereal while watching Hitz TV on Astro. Looking through short messages sent by individuals on the screen, I was reminded about the job my friend mentions to me last week. His nature of job is to reply 120-150 messages per hour. Isn’t that awesome? Believe me, I enjoy chatting online but unfortunately most of my friends are usually busy.

I doze off an hour after lunch while going through my lecture’s notes. It must be the food. I woke up 2 hours later after a lazy nap. Lying on my bed looking out of the window, I got up and grab my camera on the table and took a few snapshots.

Mind me, I was pretty bored. Nothing to see here, just pretty clouds.

Photo Shoot

I wore the boots and black top that I've bought yesterday for today’s photo session. The photographer wanted to try something different by using one soft box instead of the 10x10 feet white background. So, I suggested we try shooting at the stairs way for a change. An easy sets up.

Shopping

I do not know what had gotten into me. I was looking for boots at 1-U. I remembered walking into this shop named Aldo where they sell leather shoes, boots, heels, wallet, jacket and other accessory. I was told by the sales lady that all the stocks are imported from Canada while it on the label is printed "made in Brazil". The price of those heels ranging from RM150+ and above. Expensive stuff!!! I’m sure my feet would fit comfortably in those shoes, admiring each one of them on the shelf while browsing the shop. If I not mistaken the price of a pair of Stiletto Boots sold in this shop cost about RM700+ each. I asked one of the sales guys whether are there any boots available at the moment and he told me they were out of stock. Oh well... Either way, I wouldn’t want to spend so much on a pair of boots which I think I would only wear in once in a blue moon.

Anyway, while walking around, I decided to step into Nafnaf where I last saw a mid riff top which I admired so much. It was still on sale but unfortunately the S size are out of stock. :( So I continue to look around and I saw this black top which fits me so well after putting it on. I told myself that would be last top I’m going to buy for a long time, maybe not that long, for another 2-3 months. I’ve been spending my cash like nobody business. Need to cut down my spending and start saving up. Haha... None of the clothes there are on sales, so I ended up paying full price. :(

We’ve been window shopping for nearly 2 hours and I promised my dearest that we would go straight to the car after my last stop (at Nafnaf), but we ended up entering Lewre because I saw some boots displayed on the shelf. Man, I got lucky! We went through almost every single shoes store at 1-U and I finally found it. Whoopee!!! One of the design caught my attending and immediately I asked the sales lady whether they have my size. Can you believe it, they actually have my size. Double whoopee!!! Haha… Crazy me. To cut the story short, I bought the boots and it was 20% off. Cool, huh? And I said to myself, this will be the last boots I will get for myself.

Leather. Black. Knee-length. Heel height:3 inches.

Misfortune

As usually, I went to gym early in the morning to do some work out, had facial done and paid my parking ticket after gym. Everything went well and I’ve planed to meet a friend for lunch after his photo session. But when I get into my car and turn on the engine, the car did not start. It couldn’t start at all. The battery wasn’t dead. I could basically turn on the radio and lights. I tried several times but nothing happened. So, I called my mum, my dad and my dearest. Dad was having Masters Classes at that very moment, so he couldn’t come over to lend a hand instead he told me to ask for help. While mum was at work. I doubt she can help me in this situation. So I called my dearest who had just finished his photo shooting session and told him about my situation. He was just a few km away at that time. Mum or dad, on the other hand, would have to come all the way from wherever they were. My dearest was kind enough to ask his dad for an assistant and his dad bought along a mechanic.

While waiting, I went to ask the security guards for help. They opened the bonnet and examine the engine. They didn’t know what to do. Then check the radiator for water and thought it was empty, so they refilled it for me. It wasn’t the radiator. One of them tried his best to help by calling up one of his friend but still couldn’t do much either. So they gave up and apologised for not being able to assist me in this situation.

After that, I went up to the ground floor to wait for my dearest after sitting in my car for quite a while. I told him my car whereabouts but he missed the car and went down to basement 2. Wasted some time looking for me. Okay, when mechanic arrived, he pop open the bonnet, check the battery (the battery was okay), removed the air filter, fiddle with some cables connected to the engine and then the engine started. Wow! That was fast. Nothing serious though. Man! It was so embarrassing. Imagine someone have to bring their parents along to give help. After that, I went to the remaining for the parking and it totalled up to RM9.50. This is the most expensive parking I’ve ever paid for going to gym.

The mechanic suggested that I drive the car over to their workshop for further examine. Drove there, they check everything and the cost turn out to be only RM20. Phew! Thank goodness it did not cost a boom. Else I will have to bear the cost myself.

Even Nature Remembers...

Good Friday is no ordinary Friday. It is a day where Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, died on the Cross to take away the sin of the world (John 1:29). By doing so, He has conquered death (Revelation 1:18).

Let’s not take Christianity or salvation for granted but rather give thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father for the gift of Salvation. This is a gift that needed to be shared to the whole world, the gift of everlasting life (John 3:16). This gift of Salvation is free of charge, for Jesus has already paid the price on the Cross. Jesus Christ is offering us hope for a better life (John10:10). All we have to do is to believe and accept Him.

----------

Text taken from New King James Version:

John 1:29
The next day, John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 10:10The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Revelation 1:18
I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

----------

Ever since year 1999, I realised that it never failed to rain during Easter, especially during the evening. I guess even nature remembers Jesus’ death.

I’m sure not everyone would agree with me. Most people would say Easter so happens to fall on a raining reason.

At the Workshop

My dearest ordered Kimex springs for his 1.8 Waja a week ago and couldn't wait to replace it with the existing ones. I do not know much about car accessories or anything related mechanic. But accordingly after replacing this Kimex springs, the car supposed to lowered by 40mm. As a result, the back was lowered while the front remains the same.Oh boy, something has gone wrong.

My advice, don’t play car. :p

Kimex Springs

Back to School

A friend of mine and I have made a promise a week ago to return to school on this day to collect our SPM slip. My goodness, it took us 2 years to return to school.

After collecting my SPM slip, my friend and I dropped by the school chapel for a visit. We managed to catch up with our juniors, and then asked one of them to take us for a tour around the school.

I'm impressed with the changes that took place after 2 years of leaving the school. The current school is nicely painted and decorated with plants, while classrooms’ blackboards are now replaced with whiteboards.

This is the library. PCs have been equipped with internet connection and students are charges RM2 per hour.

The toilets have been renovated and a wide mirror has been installed. Accordingly students are more likely to enter the toilet than before due to this reason. The toilet is much more spacious after the sinks and some toilets have been removed.

Christian Fellowship title board, done by myself 2 years ago. Lovely, isn't it? :)

Some silly poses taken with my fellow friends.

Study...

Honestly, I’m too lazy to study. Look at those notes! There are just too many words, too many pages. Wished I have extra one week to prepare. Oh, NO! My finals are next week!!!

Sigh. Celine, you must study smart...

Lavender Passion

I was pretty hungry and went looking for food in the kitchen. Found 2 fancy containers and thought it contains some herbal tea because the label read “Lavender Passion” and “Blossom – Flower Fragrance from Natural Dried Flower”. I said to myself, this must be some health drink that my dad bought back for himself. So, I didn’t bother to read the ingredients label on the back assuming it is not what I’m looking for.

After my mum opened one of the containers and asked whether I want some biscuits that my dad just bought back. I felt so silly. Honestly, I have NEVER heard of such biscuits baked with lavender. Man, the biscuits taste SO GOOD, I seriously haven’t tasted any biscuits as good as this. I’m addicted to it. Don’t mind me. Haha... Too bad, we only have 2 of these.

Here’s a short poem and description on the label.

Blossom Diary
In the rolling gardens of lavender
The air so pure and sweet
One’s soul thus free to wander
A taste of passion... oh what a treat

Lavender belongs to the mint variety of romantic herbs and is commonly cultivated as ornamental flowers rather than a cooking ingredient. But by the 17th Century, lavender became a popular element in baked confectionery. More recently, herbalists and aroma therapists are recommending lavender to calm the senses and relieve mild cases of anxiety and depression.

If anyone of you happens to see this biscuits in the market, kindly let me know, ya? Jakun lah me. :P

Lazing at Home

It’s been 3 days I’ve been lazing around at home and doing revision at the same time. I personally prefer study at the library where my concentrations are there. Like wise at home, there are just too many “temptations” around, such as the Internet, television, radio, kitchen and my cosy bed. Most of the time, I would be dozing off after reading few pages of lecture’s notes. Too many facts to understand and remember. Reminds me of my last minute revision during SPM 2 years ago. I can’t deny that this is much easier compared to SPM because I only have 2 modules to concentrate on in this semester. Guess I shouldn’t be complaining.

In the next semester, which will be my last semester for foundation, I will be taking 4 modules. The 4 modules includes Quantitative Methods for Business & IT, Business Organisation, Moral Studies and Problem Solving & Program Design Using C. Wow, those are a heavy loads. Hope I can survive the next semester.

For the past few days, my next door neighbour has been blasting the radio out loud. I can feel the vibration from my bed room and what I hear is only the base music. Once another neighbour of mine turned up their theatre system and all I hear is explosion and gun shooting from afar. This can be irritating if done at the wrong time. Come on, I know you have a those high-tech gadgets, you don’t have to show it off. The least they could do is to invite me over to join them. *LOL*

Photo Sites

I was glancing through www.photo.net for glamour portrait photography done by foreign photographers. Found a few interesting collections of digital artwork, glamour, and portrait.

Filizofia.com Photography
High-key. In order to get this effect the photo has to be overexposed. Wonder this effect can apply on people with dark hair and skin. I think the model here look very alike Christina Aguilera.

Photos of Hugo Paez
This is one colourful collection of models with various hair colours and hairdo. Very interesting.

Photos of Gabor Matyasi
Still life photo. There is no digital trick here, believe it or not, it’s hand curved. Reminds me of the bending spoon in The Matrix.

Photos of Jack Malipan
Various glamour shoots.

Photos of Matthew Yorke
A combination of photography and digital artwork. Words can’t describe how much I admire those art works of his. Simple beautiful.

Photos of Barbara Wirth
Lovely portrait of human interacting with animal. Love those innocent eyes.

I was browsing through some links on the website and found 2 interesting website:

G10 - The Movie
Some video clips done by a friend of mine. Something he and his few friends came out with that involved the whole class participation. This is done for remembrance.

How does a typical Ah Beng's car look like?
Got this website from my dearest while he was browsing through some automobile website. The conversation in this forum is rather hilarious. Please don’t be offended by what you read because it’s just a forum.

"Famous" Friends

Wow! I can’t believe 2 of my high school friends are in a band called “Edge of Fire”. Come to think of it, I wasn’t surprised that they were in a band because they were good musicians. They’ve been playing music instruments for many years and even took music lesson. I read that the band has been around for quite a while and I just found out today through one of them. This makes I just realised it’s been a long time since we kept in touch. I’m so outdated. Frankly speaking, I do not listen to local music that much and am not aware of the hip and happening thing around KL.

I have met another friend at H.U.G.E. camp, 2003, who is also in a band, called “Altered Frequency”. What a small world. Can’t believe I have “famous” friends. *LOL*

When I was younger, I always wished I lived where celebrities lived. But now, I’m living among them.

Busy at Work

There is a student submission this week and today Epson lab was packed with students printing their final year project. I wasn’t aware of this until I came to work today. Epson lab was in chaos. There were many printing errors and the total sum printed did not match the amount collected. At the same time, we have to create students’ account for a new intake students.

I received news from a Technical Assistant that the same Technical Assistant that ghosted lab 4’s image had formatted the one I’ve done on Friday. Arg!!! I really think that Technical Assistant should take a break, at least for now before more problems occur. Sorry I have to say this.

----------

Oh yeah, a friend of mine told me that Sushi King is having a promotion from 21- 24 of March. All sushi on the conveyor belt are at RM2 per dish. What a good deal, isn’t it? I might consider going with my friends this Wednesday. Sigh. I had to cut down my carbohydrate consumption.

Studio Photo

Here is one close-up photo taken during one of photo shooting session. One of the best so far. Wish the lighting was a little brighter. Actually, the close-up can be easily made brighter during processing. The next round, I would like to try harder lighting on close-up shoots. The eyes could be enhanced with a little more mascara.

All photos that we see on advertisements are edited in order to get that plastic look. It’s called airbrushing.

* Photo taken by Kevin.

Comparison

Over the pass one year, I’ve been motivated to do cardio workouts and eat carefully. As a result, I’ve lost about 7kg. You may think this figure is small, but to me it’s a big deal because I’m towards the petite category.

After returning from Italy in February 2004, I’ve put on 4 kg within 2 months. I was there for a 2 months intercultural student exchange programme hosted by AFS – Antarabudaya Malaysia. My daily consumption was pasta, pasta and more pasta. I was there during winter season and I hardly did any work out. All I did was eat, sleep and hangout. Guess that’s how fast a person can put weight for being lazy.

Right now, I can jog 30 minutes non-stop and at the same time eating foods without worrying about putting on weight easily because my metabolic rate has increase due to regular work out.

I am usually less occupied during the weekends, so that’s when I go to gym in the morning and jog in the evening. On weekdays, I do 2 sets of 15 sit-ups and muscle toning using 3 kilos dumbbell. Not to mention stretching as well.

Back in high school, I can’t even take 5 rounds on the basketball court. That show how weak I was. I was never a sport person and couldn’t be bothered to exercise. But now I can honestly tell you, I enjoy exercising and any outdoor activities. Exercise is good for health as it build up a person stamina.

Comparing my photo taken a year ago (February 4, 2004) and present (March 13, 2005). I managed to get into reasonable shape in a year. But some people can do it in 2 months or less. It’s all about determination.

Doesn’t it look like some slimming advertisement? :p

New Stuff

Morning while I was at gym working out, my dearest was at 1-Utama doing shopping. He was looking for something red in colour, something bright. He couldn’t find anything of that colour, so he bought me something blue instead. It was a BIKINI from Rip Curl. The previous one he bought at Australia was pink in colour, a very light one. That one was bought in Aussie dollar and it was 4 times expensive that this new one. Partially was because of the currency exchange.

After lunch, my dearest and I dropped by Guardian Pharmacy to look for eye shadow because I do not have a variety range of colour for eye shadow. We took a long time to decide on the colours and ended up buying 2 sets of Trio Eye Shadow, one pink (05 Sweet Pink Candy) and one blue (03 Stormy Day), both are from Maybelline New York. I thought of trying out a different foundation and ended up taking one liquid foundation, Maybelline Clear Smooth Gel Foundation (12). I only realised that the colour was a little too light for my skin after trying it. Not putting it to waste, I ended up using as a concealer to lighten my dark eye circles beneath the eyes. Of course it doesn’t work like a concealer. Hehe… :p

Force of Nature - Concert for Tsunami Aid

I’ve been waiting for soooooooooo long for this day to come. Backstreet Boys is finally here in Malaysia. I’ve been a HUGE fan of them ever since I was 12 years old. I was really crazy over them. I bought all their albums, had lots of posters of them of my wall, bought magazine that have articles on them and even created books to stored their information.

These are collectable cards, stickers, and photo frames.

These are books that I’ve created for each member of the band and the band itself. It contains photos, bio data, articles, facts and newspaper cutting on Backstreet Boys. These books were last updated in 1999.

These are their singles, albums and VCDs that I’ve bought over the years.

Those were the days. Currently I do not have any favourites. I just listen to all of them. :)

I was really disappointed that I could not make it for the concert. First of all, the tickets price was way too expensive - RM82, RM182, RM242, RM352, and RM552. (But then come to think of it, it's worthy paying to see so many celebrities perform live on stage). Secondly, I have no one to go with. And thirdly, I had AGM to attend at church (This meeting is for church members only). :(

The Force of Nature Concert for Tsunami Aid took place on Friday, March 18 , 2005 (yesterday) at Stadium Putra in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Here's a little about the concert:
"I AM A FORCE OF NATURE" is our rallying cry. It is a campaign to educate and empower people throughout the world with the belief that every individual can make a difference in the long-term aid of tsunami-affected countries. The centrepiece of this effort is a multi-artist benefit concert aimed to raise funds and motivate a worldwide audience to act now and continue to do so for the years to come. – Axcess

Artist line-up (Backstreet Boys, Boyz II Men, Black Eyed Peas, Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, Sheila Majid, Anuar Zain, Dayang Nurfaizah, Nicholas Tse, Jackie Chan, Innuendo, Yumiko Cheng and more artists to be announced)

The Force of Nature Concert for Tsunami Aid has exceeded its target of raising RM10 million.

Read more about it at New Straits Time – Malaysia News Online.

My Work Place (Part2)

Today, I went to college neither for duty nor classes but to do something I’ve never done before. That is, creating image. All I have to do was to install Operating System and other licensing software. It wasn’t as easy as I thought. I had to carry a PC from one end to the other. And worst, I did that twice because the first one that I took was faulty. Sigh. Both arms are aching a little right now.

I wasted 3 hours for installing the Operating System 3 times. What happened was, I forgotten to format the disk during the first installation, while the second and third uncompleted installation for due to the hard disk failure. That means I did it 4 times all together. I nearly doze off while waiting. Even the book that I’ve borrowed from the library did not do me any good either.

After 4 hours the installation finally completed. Then, another problem accrued. The PC could not connect to the LAN. Thank goodness by boss managed to solve that problem and thus able to connected to the internet. Hurray!!! I kept myself occupied by browsing the Internet while installing software at the same time. I did not manage to finish the image because I had to rush to church for AGM at 7pm.

Late in the evening, my boss found out that one of the images that were created few days ago was ghosted by one of the Technical Assistant. My boss was furious and wanted that Technical Assistant to recreate the image again. The computer that has the image was unplugged from the hard disk and power cables. What makes that Technical Assistant ghosted the PC was due to account login failure.

Here are some photos taken at work.

My Work Place

I’m currently in the midst of buffer week. Our last class for this semester was on Tuesday. Now all we have is exam and revision to look forward to.

Today I had duty from morning to evening, while my classmates sat for their in-course test. Well, I got exempted from this subject, that’s why I did not take the test.

The Epson lab was rather quiet these few days and there wasn’t much trouble to troubleshoot. Thank goodness. But during the afternoon, our boss requested the “rounders” – my friend and I, to troubleshoot some PCs at Lab 3 and 4. Guess if he doesn’t push us, we would be hanging around in the Epson lab. Sorry boss, I’m being very honest here.

Here are a few photos taken at my work place.

This is the lab Chief. A very nice and helpful guy.

My classmate, also know as my "college's darling". Future model, eh?

Workshop + Shopping = Absent from Meeting

I received a call from Leonard Drake on Monday regarding a free make-up workshop they are conducting on Wednesday, which is today. The workshop was from 2pm to 4pm. A small workshop consists of 4 people.

The workshop covers tips on how to make-up in 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 15 minutes. That includes basic steps from applying foundation to putting on mascara. The trainer touched on choosing the right colour for eye shadows – warn, cold and neutral colour. Learned additional tips that can be apply for my future photo shoot. Frankly speaking, I do not wear make-up when I go out. I only apply a layer of moisturiser, lip gloss, and at time, mascara. There’s always a catch to every free offer and somehow they will persuade you to buy their product. I did thought of getting a set of eye shadows, but then after speaking to my dearest, I guess it’s not worth paying so much when I hardly use it. That's very true...

I brought my camera there for some reason and we took photos at the end of the session.

Noticed any different?

----------

After the workshop, I went to look for heels at Vincci. Most of the designs that I like do not have my size. I have really small feet. At times, I wish my feet were one size bigger. I managed to find a brown pair and I decided to grab it because that was the last pair. I’m still looking for a pink one though. Sigh.

Next, I went to Comma to get a cheap pants and cardigan. I was looking for a cardigan to go on with my tank tops, because I can’t be wearing it on its own in an air-conditional environment. I mean in college. The air-conditional is centralist, so you just can’t predict which room will be cold.

I'm seriously bored of my wardrobe. Week over week, I’ve been wearing the same old shirts – black, blue, brown, red, white… Sometimes it makes me wonder why working attire is so boring or was it because I do not know how to dress differently? I noticed a classmate of mine dresses very well, and I’m sure she goes shopping very often.

The pants that I bought months ago have expended. With my current size, the pants would be falling down if I do not use a belt. Sigh. Hopefully this new one will not fail on me. Oh boy, I shouldn’t be reducing my size anymore. I’m seriously underweight. That’s NO GOOD. Darling, please don’t kill me for saying that.

----------

Alright, I lost track of time. It was nearly 5pm when I reached the car park. I called up my classmate to inform that I won’t be attending the general meeting. Either way, my other classmates are absent as well. The Administration assistant actually called me around 4pm to ask whether will I be attending the board meeting this evening. I just told her I can’t make it today.

*Thousand apologise to my team, whoever is reading this, please don’t be mad at me.

Goodies

It was months ago since I last bought any albums. I stop buying albums for some time because I listened to the radio so often and my car does not have a CD player.

The last album that I’ve bought was “Alicia Keys – The Diary of Alicia Keys”, “Clay Aiken – Measure of Man”, and “Celine Dion & Anne Geddes – Miracle”. I bought it at RM10 for 3. Yes, I got it from the night market. :P

The album that I’m still hoping to get is “Maksim - Variations Part I & II”. I just love instrumental music. I am a fan of Richard Clayderman followed by Jim Brickman and now Maksim. I can’t deny the fact that music has been getting better and better over the years. And recently I’ve added 4 more albums to my CDs collection. :)

1. OST: The Phantom of the Opera
2. Micheal Bublé – It’s time
3. Altered Frequency – Exalt [Got it signed by the band :)]
4. Planet Shakers – All That I Want (live praise worship)

Not many people appreciate music such as opera or jazz, like I do. They would probably fall asleep after listening it to for 5 minute. LOL. What contradicting is that I enjoy New Age music too. That includes Josh Gorban, Sarah Brightman, Enya and Yanni. I’m sure not sure how they fall into that category. Some Christians say we shouldn’t listen to New Age music, but I don’t see any reason for it.

A few days ago, my dad came home with a swatch bag and I actually thought he gave me the bag because I like keeping fancy bags. To my surprise, he bought me a “Swatch® SKIN” watch. I repeat, “SWATCH® SKIN”. I reckon he bought 2 watches because he wanted the stainless steel strap to go along with his Swatch® SKIN Diamond. The one you see in this picture supposed to look like this.

The white leader was originally belongs to Swatch® SKIN Diamond. Do you know how much a Swatch® SKIN would cost? RM300+ each! I’m not sure about the Diamond special edition one. The original Swatch® is around RM100+. The most expensive one I had was barely RM100+.

Deep in Thought

So many things happen so quickly within a short period of time and it makes me ponder and anxiously seeking for explanations which I myself do not have.

Sometimes I wish those things never happened to me. If only I could turn back time, start over again and totally forget what had happened. It’s not as simple as erasing files from a hard disk and think that it’s totally gone. Deleted files in a hard disk can be recovered by using data recovery software, unless the sector is overwritten by another file. Memory we’ve kept for sometimes can only be forgotten if we choose to forget. Believe it or not, I have the tendency of keeping things for a very long time and that includes photos, chat history, phone numbers, letters and the list go on. Is it wrong to do so?

Many things are beyond my control and I believe that only God can help me go through it. My Christian friends encourage me to stand firm in Christ no matter how tough my problem may seem.

I guess I can’t forgive myself for what had happened. My friendship with a friend may seem normal on the outside but deep inside we’ve created a wall between us. I doubt that things will ever be the same again. Unconsciously, either one of us may be keeping a distance from the other.

Back in Action

It’s good to be back after a long time. My website has been under construction for nearly 4 months and I can’t deny the fact that I was lazy and lack of inspiration to write. If you realised, I’ve been using bloger’s template for the past few months and thought I should put on my designing skills into practice instead. Nothing fancy though, but at least the layout is mine.

I did some amendment on the preview blog as well as getting familiarise with CSS. I Found CSS very useful when it comes to controlling the style and layout of each pages.

I have added a “Contact / Feedback” form on this site. Feel free to drop your comments, feedback, critique or just anything you want to share.
