Photo Shoot - Flamin' J
Jason from Flamin’ J e-mailed my dearest and offered him to shoot one of Flamin’ J latest product called the Phyton. This new product will be launch somewhere in June and it will be called a challenge dish whereby whoever can finish it within an hour without going to the toilet will have his or her name printed on the wall of fame at Flamin’ J’s outlet. The Phyton is to be said to cost RM40+ and it will be served along with a plate of chips.
I told my friend about the shoot and told him to drop by but he ended up being joining the photo session instead.

The photo session took 4 hours. We were all tired and hungry by then. The director treated us late lunch and we all enjoyed our meal. My friend took up the challenge to beat the Phyton but he wasn’t able to finish it because he had a late breakfast in the morning. We were told that whoever couldn’t finished the Phyton will have their name printed on the wall of shame. :P

Mmmm... Yum! Yum! The dish wasn't bad at all. Sorry, I’ve forgotten what it called.
Shareaza is a peer-to-peer client for Windows that allows you to download any file-type found on several popular P2P networks. Shareaza is FREE & contains NO Spyware or third-party products. - Shareaza
I was happily downloading audios and videos after downloading this program. I left my PC on overnight for downloads, which I rarely do.
Shareaza was recommended by a college mate. Previously I was using Kazaa and it took up hard disk space. I didn’t like Kazaa it’s because it has lots of spyware and not many files can be found.

Iggy Went To The Vet
I was told that Iggy wasn’t feeling well and needed to be treated. There weren’t many vets that could treat exotic pets like Iguana. My dearest’s mum came across an article on the newspaper that mention there’s a veterinarian at Wisma Medivet that could treat exotic pets. Wisma Medivet is located along Jalan Tun Razak.
Malaysian National Animal Welfare Foundation Wisma Medivet, 8, Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Tel: 6 (03) 40435113, 40432420 Fax: 6 (03) 4041 3660 E-mail: mnawforg@mnawf.org.my

Iggy was nervous because he has never sat in a car before.

Waiting at the vet.

The vet checking on Iggy. (left) Open. Ah... (right) Eh, what are you looking at!

Iggy weighed 2.6kg.

The vet confirms that Iggy is a male Iguana. Iggy was given 2 injections on both of his legs. Ouch! That’s hurts.

What is that iguana doing over there? Iggy basking under the sun.

Photo Shoot - Close-Ups
First attempt close-up shoots with sunglasses. The white square reflection on the sunglasses is rather distracting. It was caused by the studio light during the shoots.
I’m planning to re-shoot this one again.

Photo Shoot - Come here, Mr. Crab...
Food so fresh, it walks right off your plate.

** Photos taken by Kevin.
Hello Mr. Crab
My dearest and I were at Giant, 1-Utama shopping for crab. We were looking for a particular crab called flower crab. According to Wild Singapore, males have bright blue markings and longer pincers while the females have dull green or brown with red pincers.
We managed to find a pretty big and good looking male flower crab to bring home. Yup, he’s one of the biggest in the ice box.
Mr. Crab was chilling out with his fellow crabs in the ice box.
I see you, Mr. Crab!
Mr. Crab was seated at the rear. He sure can't wait for his photo session. LOL.
Attack!!! Oh look, Mr. Crab can pose too! Sexy, wei... ;P
Blessed Mother's Day
Mum, You were there when I needed someone to talk to, You were there when I needed someone to share my thoughts with, You were there when the world seems to be falling apart, You were there to share my pains and sorrows.
Mum, You are the coolest mum that anyone can ever have, You hang out with us at the mall, You watch movies with us, You watch plays with us, You play games like we do, You join us for activities, You understand us inside out, You laugh along with our jokes, You know what we enjoy most at our age.
Mum, You taught me how to be a better person, You taught me to be strong, You taught me to have faith in myself, Most of all, You taught me how to be a woman after God’s heart, And I’m proud to be your daughter.
I love you, mum. Have a blessed Mother’s Day.

Photo Shoot - Bandage
The idea was first started with me wearing a tube top with short pants followed by toilet papers and now bandages. This was done using 5 rolls of bandages - 2 small and 3 medium sizes.
The bandages were a lot harder to handle compared to toilet papers because they tend to come out easily when I move around. But toilet papers were also problematic as they tear easily.

Catwalk @ The Mall, 1-Utama
Catwalk @ The Mall is part of KL Fashion Week 2005 programme, where we get to see the creations of our very own local fashion designers.
My dearest and I was there for only one show because we got bored of the fashion show after seeing the same over and over again for the last few days.
Attended the following shows:
12.00pm – 12.30pm New Names: Iszal Ismail, Habibah Yaacob, Winnie Liew

The stage.

After lunch, while walking around 1-Utama we noticed an escalator leading to the top floor where the bowling center was located. Within the bowling center there were also foosball and pool tables. If I’m not mistaken, bowling was RM3.50 per game on weekdays (student rate) and pool was RM3.00. With that money, I'd rather do something else.

It’s been a while since I played pool and that was some time last year in college. I can’t even remember how to hold a cue stick.
STILL NOT GETTING ANY LAVA / WARNER 2004
I open my eyes I try to see but I'm blinded By the white light I can't remember how I can't remember why I'm lying here tonight And I can't stand the pain And I can't make it go away No I can't stand the pain
How could this happen to me? I made my mistakes Got no where to run The night goes on As I'm fading away I'm sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me?
Everybody's screaming I try to make a sound But no one hears me I'm slipping off the edge I'm hanging by a thread I wanna start this over again So I try to hold onto A time when nothing mattered And I can't explain what happened And I can't erase the things that I've done No I can't
How could this happen to me? I made my mistakes Got no where to run The night goes on As I'm fading away I'm sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me?
I've made my mistakes Got no where to run The night goes on As I'm fading away I'm sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me?
----------
There are times in life when I felt so down and...
... wished things wouldn’t happen to me. ... wished there were answers to my questions, but there were none. ... wished my friends were there to listen, but they were too occupied. ... wished I could turn back time and make the right decisions. ... wished there were solutions to end my pains and sorrows. ... wished someone would understand me. ... wished there were an easy way to get out of my problems. ... wished I could start a new life.
I've made my mistakes Got no where to run The night goes on As I'm fading away I'm sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me?
Pasta Fredo
I dropped by my dearest's place after attending Technical Assistant General Board Meeting which ended at 7pm. By the time I arrived at his place, he had already taken his dinner, but he accompanied me for my dinner anyway. We ate at Pasta Fredo, an Italian restaurant in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail. I had been looking forward to eating there since seeing their advertisement in the Calvary Easter programme booklet.
Being there reminded me of the time when I was in Italy. I miss the old days when I got to taste Italian food for free. Over there, one bottle of wine can be bought for as low as 1 Euro. Where else the cheapest wine you can get here is probably not lower than RM20. The pizza and pasta that my host mum prepared were as good as those in the local Italian restaurants. Yeah, I really miss the food.

PASTA FREDO, La Cucina Mediterranea, 14, Lorong Ibrahim Kajai 14, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, KL (Tel: 03-7710 0021). Business Hrs: Daily, lunch (Noon–2.30pm); dinner (6.30pm-11.30pm). Pork-free. A quiet and sophisticated outlet minus the price tag that comes with most gourmet restaurants. The dishes are in sizeable portions and are beautifully presented like those at swanky restaurants.
I have the tendency to...
... be sarcastic. When I’m being plain nasty or trying to embarrass someone. This happens naturally without me realising that I’m hurting someone. It may seem like a harmless joke but people do take me seriously and get hurt.
... be mean. When someone gets on my nerves or irritates me. If this happen, it’s wise that one stays far away from me.
... be impatient. When I can’t seem to get things right or have to wait for someone who is late. But I do admit that I myself have the tendency to be slow at times.
You can tell that I am...... crazy. When I start talking nonsense and it irritates you. This may last the whole day if it happens.... daring. When I’m put to a challenge.... hyper. When I’m emotionally stimulated or overexcited that it shows through my attitude.

Shooting Monkeys
I went to Lembah Kiara Recreational Park with my dearest for jogging in the morning. But I wasn’t feeling too well that morning so we ended up walking instead. The park wasn’t as big as Taman Tasik Permaisuri in Bandar Tun Razak.

On the way, we saw some wild monkeys. I suggested to my dearest that we come back after breakfast and try to photograph them. And we did. We went back there with 3 bananas. I tried to get the monkeys attention by feeding them bananas while my dearest took some shots of them. Some of the monkeys were brave enough to walk towards me just to get some food. I was quite worried that they might jump on me to get to the bananas. I guess bananas are the sweetest thing they've ever tasted other than leftovers from the rubbish bins. The monkeys were more afraid of us than we were of them. It was quite interesting to see the monkeys interecting with one another.

Notice his natural eyeliner and eyeshadow.

Heal The Nation Concert
After the fashion show at Mid Valley, my dearest and I attended Heal the Nation - Through the Rain Concert at Glad Tidings. I wasn’t sure of the way to Glad Tidings for all I know their church was located along Jalan Gasing. Thank goodness a friend of mine showed us the way there or else we would end up driving home. Haha... Seriously, I didn’t know they have a new building. The church was huge compared the one along Jalan Gasing. There were sufficient parking spaces.
The concert was awesome. There were performances by Liang, Juwita Suwito, Altered Frequency, Patrick Leong and Dancers from Eximius School of Performing Arts.
First performance was by Liang and the Dancers from Eximius School of Performing Arts. Liang was a great rapper. His singing was as good as a black rapper. I’m serious, especially the part where he sang "Where is the Love" and "What’s Going On". After that, follow on performances by Juwita. Juwita has a great voice and her singing was fabulous. And next was performance by Altered Frequency. The very moment Altered Frequency came on stage, everyone stood up and I can hear girls screaming as if they were another boy band. Hehe... Later, Patrick came on stage and sang the concert them song "Through the Rain". I must say, he has a very good control of his voice.
After the performances, Pastor Clement shared a short message and then he opened the altar call for everyone to receive prayers. The concert was made possible to raise funds for the Tsunami victims. Donations were collected and prayers were said to heal the countries that were affected by Tsunami.

The album "Through the Rain" was sold for RM10 outside of the hall.

The stage from the back view. I was sitting at the back of the sanctuary when I took this shot. Liang was performing "Where is the Love?" along with Juwita.

Juwita was singing "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson.

Altered Frequency.

Patrick Leong sang the theme song "Through the Rain".

Prayers were said for countries that were affected by Tsunami. Donations were collected to help the victims.

Fashion Show at Midvalley
Attended another fashion show at Mid Valley. There were only 4 photographers. The stage wasn’t as grand as the one at 1-Utama, while the models were average. The show was worth catching because our very own Malaysia’s top model Amber Chia was there. Amber Chia, co-winner of the Guess Watches Timeless Beauty International Model Search
Attended the following fashion show:
