Challenge The Pyton

A week ago, my friend and I suggested that we have our dinner at Flamin' J, Hartamas Shopping Center. Knowing that by challenging that pyton within an hour without going to the toilet, 2 of my friends decided to take challenge the pyton worth RM45. They were all charged up and excited before that evening. One of them even skipped his lunch to prepare for it.

The task may seem easy since you may be a big eater, but guess how long is the pyton. Its 2 feet long and weight 1kg.The pyton was served along with a bowl of chips. Still sound simple to you? Here's what happened.

Both of my friends that took up the challenge were unable to finish the 2 feet long pyton. Not because they were full, but the fact that having to eat a large portion of the same ingredient. Jelak lah tu!

So they gave up about 20 minutes before an hour.

And these are the remaining. There goes the free meal worth RM45. Awww...

Nevertheless, we had fun getting together. :)

This is my dearest and I. He dropped by Flamin' J that night to join us for dinner as well.

Flamin' J Ad

Someone left a comment on my dearest's blog that she saw a Flamin' J advertisement with my face in it. True enough, my dearest and I drove to Flamin' J at Hartamas Shopping Center to have a look.

My dearest art work was printed on Flamin' J's banner and menu.

While I saw myself at the notice board in Hartamas Shopping Center, Level 1. The photo was shrinked to fit the notice board size and thus the picture ended up looking so distorted.

Oh well, at least I'm on ad. *Jumping in excitement*

Car Accident

Can't believe it happened. It's was entire my fault.

This was what happened. I was on my way to college in morning and I saw a friend of mine walking to college. Well, I usually give my friends a lift to college whenever I see them waiting at the road for the school bus. So I trid driving closer but wasn't near enough to stop beside him. Then I thought why not just give him a call. Without looking, I hint someone else's car in front. I SHOULD'T have took out my phone or even bother to stop since I was already late for class.

We both came down the car after the accident and luckily the guy in the front car wasn't mad at me. Probably I was a girl. I don't know. I was expecting the guy to probably scold me or something. But no, the guy was nice enough to settle the accident and agreed not to make police report. The damage was petty, nothing serious. My friend who was near by ran up to where my car was to help. I was so embarressed.

I told my dad about the incident and told him to send his car to my dad's workshop to fix the damage. I felt bad if that guy's car wasn't properly fixed because I was the one who damaged his car. Knowing my dad he will only repair what is necessary. So I paid the mechanic a small sum to fix the car exhaust pipe, without my dad's knowledge.

First Week Of Lecture

I've now entered second year of Diploma (Level 1). Really miss my holidays and still wished it was holidays. For this first semester, I have 4 modules and there are over 90 students in a class. I never like big classes because firstly it’s hard to concentrate with so many students and not all of them will be listening to the lecture, secondly the lecturers might lecture too fast and he or she can't slow down because of one student. True? But on the other hand, no one will notice if you were missing from lecture or sleeping in class with such a big crowd. LOL.

I still miss my old intake and classmates. We were so close and happening. There’s this guy from our group of friends that always make us laugh, crack silly jokes and annoyed the lecturers. I miss the old days. He has now decided to further his studies in an art school. Guess IT wasn't his cup of tea.

Anyway, although there are 4 modules semester, there will be 5 lecturers. 2 lecturers for Computer System Architecture, one teaches Assembly language and the other teaches the theory. The only subject I find most boring is the Internet Application. Not to say the lecture is bad or the subjects doesn't interest me, but the fact that the lecture doesn't know how to control the crowds and he tend to beat around the bush before getting to the point. Probably due to the fact that this subject is short and he does that to lengthen the lecture time, else might end up dismissing the class early. While for Java Programming, the first few topics are pretty similar to C but at the same time we will learn about Java Application which involved Objects and Platform. Why IT got to sound so technical? Assembly language is another killer subject where by we got to write a long instruction in order to display a simple word or instruction. Not to forget Numerical Methods & Logic is a tough subject according to my seniors. I heard that not many people scores well in this subject, to an extent that only 5% of the class passed the in-course test. That is so so so scary. Man, I can't effort to fail any subjects and I’m aiming for credit and above.

This time, there's 5 days of lectures instead of 4. :(

Work hard, Celine. Work hard.

Purple Shrug

I was at One-Utama yesterday, getting some treats for me piggies and had decided to take a walk around the mall before heading back to the car. I walked in XOXO and saw a beautiful Purple Rabbit Fur Collar Tie Front Shrug on a mannequin. The sales lady was friendly enough to let me try it on despite the price was way beyond my budget. All the clothes there were like RM80 and above and it’s way too expensive. After putting it on, I fell in love with it immediately. I look at the price tag and sigh to myself and wish I can own it. The sales lady told me there were very few left because it’s a fast selling item.

After returning home, I couldn't stop thinking about it and told myself that I want to make it mine. I even went online to ask my close friend for their opinions, whether or not it's worth spending. In the end, it's still my decision. And guess what I did? I went back to the shop the next day and I bought it. I know it hurts my wallet but I think it's okay to pamper myself once a while. :)

By the way, the shrug was RM299.90. Ouch! That really hurts.

~ Our Piggies ~

My dearest had been wanting to keep pets. He told me he saw some guinea pigs near his office and wanting to rear them. But since his mum doesn’t allow him to bring home anymore pets, he had decided to let me keep them. My mum doesn’t like the idea either, the fact that I used to have guinea pigs and did not know how to take care of them. Hey, I’m a grown up now and I’m more responsible compared to then.

So we went many places to look for guinea pigs. But there was little luck. Seems like not many pets stores have them. Them I look up the yellow pages and start calling every pet shops listed on the directory. Finally managed to find a shop that sells guinea pigs at the lowest rate. The shop was Pet More and it is located along Petaling Street. While the cages, bedding and food supplements were bought from The Pet Family with 7% off on discount card.

According to the pet shop, the guinea pigs are 1 month old when we bought them. Both of them are female.
