Reflecting On Oneself

What have I done over the last 12 months?

Personal
Did I achieve my goals?
Have I done anything that I’m really proud of?
Have I changed?

Studies
Did I put more effort to modules that I'm weak at?
Did I carry out my duty as a student?
Did I do last minute study and end up wishing that I could have done better?

Family
Did I disobey my parents?
Did I mistreat my brothers?
Did I take my family for granted?
Have I cared for my family?

Friends
Have I taken them from granted?
Have I hurt anyone unintentionally?
Have I broken any promises?

... it's good to stop and reflect on oneself, but words without action means nothing.

Blessed Christmas Everyone...!

So This Is Christmas

So this is Christmas
And what have you done?
Another year over
And a new one just begun

And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young.

A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And so this is Christmas
For weak and for strong
For rich and the poor ones
The road is so long

And so Happy Christmas
For black and for white
For yellow and red ones
Let's stop all the fight.

A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

So this is Christmas
And what have you done?
Another year over
And a new one just begun

And so Happy Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young.

A very Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

War is over!
If you want it
War is over!
War is over, Now!

Met Up with Daniel

It's been 2 years since I last met Daniel back in 2004, if I'm not mistaken. Once a person migrated to another country, the chances of meeting up with them are slimmer and what more it isn't cheap to travel often.

As usual, he will be staying in Malaysia for couple of months before he flies back to New Zealand. Basically, he is spending his summer holiday here. :)

Daniel called me up few week after he has settle down. Managed to meet up with him at Midvalley for lunch and had a long chat, just to catch up with things.

Pot Luck Party at Stephanie's

Christmas is around the corner and we've been planning to have a pot luck part for our foundation classmates for the last few week. Unfortunately some of them have already gone back to their hometown and the remainning ones are all KL based, including myself.

Stephanie was kind enough to allow us to use her place in Puchong for the pot luck party. We invited everyone including our new found friend from Egypt to celebrate with us. Everyone was required to bring variation of food from drinks to noodles. Well, what's a pot luck if there aren't any food, right?

After eating and chit chatting, everyone ran out of idea and things to do. So someone suggested to play cards but there weren't any in Steph's house. Eventually someone drove out to the nearest 7-Eleven to get a deck of cards which cost RM7. It was seriously over priced. We spent the whole night playing cards apart from entertainments of the television.

The party was not just fun and food but also to strengthen our friendship among our classmates.

SSG Prom Night

My dearest was invited by one of SSG prom committee members to sell portrait photos services. The event was held at Le Meridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Back in high school, there weren't any event such as this, so it was my first time attending one. Everyone that turned up were in their best outfit and the girls gorgeous. And the place were great, not to mention the food were awesome.

My dearest sold a A4 size photo for RM20 and deliver it by post. We were there early in the evening and left the place close to midnight. Overall, I have to admit that the profit earned that night was not worth the time. But it was a great experience. :)

Photo Session - SW

Meet SW. I personally think she's really gorgeous. I actually thought she was mixed when I first met her. Well, she's pure Chinese. One think I like most about her is that, she dresses really well and know how to look her best. ;)

SW and I. She looks gorgeous, doesn't she? She's really friendly too.

UCTI Year End Gathering 2005

This is the second year UCTI has organised a year end gathering. Since it's already end of the year and Christmas is drawing neaer, most of us students have other activities going on outside. So there wasn't many crowd of that day. But guess what? I got lucky and won myself a kettle during the lucky draw. :)

That's my friend's band performance and he's on the drum.

Then there was a game whereby the participants got to let the audience sign their signature on the participants' foot.

It was quite funny and at the same time Eeeeeee...

Our 3rd Anniversary

Another year has gone by and it's already our 3rd year together. I was thinking of getting something really special for my dearest and one of my friend suggested something which I have not thought of it before. It was folding the number of stars according to number of years I've been with my dearest.

It was 2 months before our anniversary when I bought those rapping papers. I didn't bother to buy those ready made star papers because I thought it would be more meaningful to do it myself from scratch. I basically cut and fold every single stars. *So proud of myself* :)

Blessed Anniversary baby...!
