Engine Transplant
For the last one month, I’ve been chauffeuring my dearest to and from work because he sent his car for an engine transplant. From a perfectly functional Waja 1.8 engine to a Mitsubishi 1.8 GDI Turbo. He bought the half cut from a chop shop along Old Klang road. He tells me it was a good find because the mileage on the half cut is only 3000km. Boys and their expensive toys.
Some snapshots taken from his phone camera.

The workshop finally finished up today with the final task of wiring the power windows. So the car should be off to somewhere else by tomorrow to have its “new” Lancer dashboard rewrapped and restored. They’ve been able to start the engine since before Raya but we’ve not had the chance for a test drive.
Slight Relief
After having to burn midnight oil for the last few weeks, I finally completed two assignments (one of it was a Diploma project). What a relief!
But… I still have one more assignment due next Friday. Oh man!!! Guess it’s a college life after all. ![]()
For the pass few weeks, I have friends calling me up for a drink but unfortunately I had to turn them down. I do miss those days where I can hang out everyday and not worry about anything. Just can’t wait for this semester to be over.
Last Semester of Diploma
I’m currently in the last semester of my Diploma course and will be completing by end of the year before I start off my Higher Diploma course beginning of next year. Since my Foundation level until Diploma, I would say that this is the most hectic semester ever. It got nothing to do with the timetable whatsoever. In fact I love this semester’s timetable. Want to know why?
| Monday | : 8.45am until 1.35pm * |
| Tuesday | : 8.45am until 1.35pm * |
| Wednesday | : No classes |
| Thursday | : 8.45am until 5pm |
| Friday | : No classes |
* At one point of time, we had replacement classes until 5pm.
Cool, right? This is the only semester we were given 2 days off in a week. Like people always say, good thing don’t come easily. So in return, we are loaded with assignments and tests, one after another. Oh well. Can’t complain right? At least they gave us 2 days off to rest and finish our assignments. Haha…
Between those classes, we were given one and a half hour of break. I would usually head off to the gym at Enterprise 4 to get some work out done. I would try my best not to miss a session unless I have assignments to finish or due to illness. One hour of workout 3 times a day would be pretty sufficient to maintain a healthy body when accompanied with a healthy food intake.
