Blessed Christmas To All!
As years go by, I realised that there were lesser and lesser of Christmas spirit in me. Back then, I used to do Christmas shopping, send Christmas greetings, join my friends for Christmas caroling and partying. But now, seems like everyone has their own individual plans. Well, I was pretty busy during the whole month of December. Due to the long break before my Degree program begin, I decided to take part time fashion design courses at IFTC. Reasons? Firstly, I don’t wish to waste time sitting at home doing nothing, secondly, I have always wanted to own a design line of my own and thirdly, most of the clothes in the market could not fit my small frame therefore why not I design and make one that fit me perfectly. ![]()
You may wonder why I choose IFTC among the other famous fashion school. I did some survey months before I enroll and found out that IFTC courses are the cheapest among the others, it offers flexible timetable for part time students and have a lot of practical hands on experience. Besides, even the well-known Bernard Chandran was a former student of IFTC. Anyway, most other fashion school around only provide full time courses and their fee are much higher. Imagine if the fee itself already cost a boom, what more your cloths and sewing material that yet to be added. The fee was my main concern because I didn’t want to burden my parents on the financial side, knowing that my younger brother will be entering college some where next year or so and I still have mu IT degree to complete.
Within a month of learning, I’ve learn a lot in terms of pattern making and designing. I’ve made myself a skirt (it looks horrible because it was my first attempt), two dresses (one long and short) and a kebaya. Somehow I enjoyed being at IFTC rather that going back to my college. Haha…
Anyway, have a look at my red dress which I made just in time for Christmas.
It’s not 100% perfect but good enough for a beginner like me. Mum did complain that I made it too short. I wanted it short, but didn’t expect it to be that short.

And my dearest photographed me in it.

Thank you, dear. ![]()

Foot Reflexology
After a tiring day full of activities, when I come home, all I look forward to is a time of relaxation. Therefore, I choose to pamper myself to a 30 minutes session of foot reflexology.
Some may think I am crazy to say it’s a form of relaxation. I called it pain in pleasure. LOL. Honestly, after a session of foot reflexology, you feel a lot better all over, not just physically but mentally too. You may think it’s just in the head because people have been marketing foot reflexology in this manner. Well, I’ve tried it and it works for me. During foot reflexology, you will also be told of your health condition and most of them are surprisingly true. Haha… No, they aren’t fortune teller.
Anyway, why not try it for yourself? No doubt you will feel the pain on the first and second time, but when you’re do it on frequent basis you will find it rather enjoyable. Who knows, you may like it. I used to think it’s painful after hearing stories from friends that it’s more like 45 minutes of pain and torture, but now I have come to like it. In fact, I love it.
Anyone wanna join me? ![]()
My mum and I usually go there on a weekly basis and we both loving it. I’ve try to persuade my dearest to join me, but never like the idea of going for a session of reflexology. He usually gives me excuses by saying his feet look ugly. LOL.

Napei Education Fair
Yet another weekend at the education fair. I got a last minute call from a student service’s staff to help out in the Napei Education Fair over the weekend. The fair was held at Mid Valley Mega mall at the exhibition hall. Comparing to last weekend’s education fair at PWTC, our booth were half of the size, but the crowd were overwhelming probably due to its strategic location. And the best part was, during lunch hour, we were spoiled with choices.

Fliming for Campbell
I got another extra job from TFS Creative Co last Friday, 8th Dec. This will be my third shoot and this time it’s in Cold Storage at Ikano. We gathered at 9.30pm outside the super market before the actual shooting start. The shoot is to advertise Campbell’s newest Tomatoes Soup, emphasising the freshness of tomatoes in the can. I had a look at the story board and it was quite funny. I wonder how it will turn out TV. Can’t wait to see it. Hehe… Should be interesting.
Nevertheless, it was a great opportunity to meet new people. I also met some casts from the previous shoot.
We were told the shoot would end at 6am and I was glad that it ended 2 hours earlier because I had to help out at the Napei Education Fair at 11.30am on Sat, 9th Dec. So, I managed to get 5 hours of rest. ![]()

Photo Shoot
On Saturday, my dearest, Emily and some few models had a photo session at Taylor’s basement car park. Emily was the director for the whole shoot. The shoot was a personal project and was done merely for fun. The theme of the shoot was gothic so everyone was with either dark or pale make-up. The whole idea was to portrait a very sad and scary gothic sort of look. Very interesting concept altogether.

Facon Education Fair
Last weekend helped out at APIIT/UCTI booth for Facon Education Fair, which was held at PWTC. It was a 2 days event and was my first time getting involved in an exhibition as such. My task on that day was to try to get as many enquiries as possible. The task was easy but the most tiring part was standing and walking around for the whole event. At the end of the day, my legs felt like it going to break.

Our booths were packed during the whole event. So there wasn’t any rest. The responses were overwhelming. Good enough as many students are still in the mid of their SPM.
