Just A Little Unwell…
Did you get it? Hope not. Because I did. It’s called virus.
It started with a flu, then sore throat. Now leads to cough.
Poor me… I hardly get sick in a year, but when I do, it is super serious.
No blogging for now, until I recover. Besides, I have few unfinished work to do.
An Interesting Ad
The other day I came across an interesting advertisement while going throught some magazines for fashion ideas.

Mmmm… This is one sexy glamour shot!
This picture reminds me of the photo shoot that Xia Xue had to do in Girls Out Load Episode 1 Part 1.
On My 21st Birthday…
People usually say that the 16th and 21st birthday are both very important dates in our life and therefore there is a reason to celebrate it. I used to think that birthday are very important occasions because when I was young, I never fail to have one birthday cake each year. Almost…

But as I grew older, birthdays felt less significance in it. So it had become just another ordinary day to me. And because my birthday fall in early January, that’s the time when school usually reopen and hardly anyone knows you yet. By the time you made friends, your friend will have to wait for your next birthday which is another year to come.
Well, I did celebrate my sweet 16 birthday. It was a memorable one.

On my 21st birthday, I didn’t expect much from my friends or anyone. I really thought no one would remember it. But then…
… a friend that I got to know for less than a month wished me at 12am and also gave me a present. It was really sweet of him. He even took me out for a game of pool and later we had dinner.
… my mum bought me a birthday cake and we celebrated at home with my family. I also received an “ang pau†from her.
… my younger brother gave me an “ang pau†as well. But coming from my younger brother, I didn’t expect him to be that generous. Love you bro!
… my dearest dropped by after work to celebrate my birthday with my family. He has always been the sweetest thing and the best gift I can ever have.
… my friends called to wish me and some send me birthday wished through SMS, Friendster and messenger.
I really appreciate for all who remembered my birthday. Thank you. You guys made my day. *Hugz* ![]()
The Star Education Fair
On the 6th and 7th of January, The Star had one of the largest Education Fair Exhibition ever at KL Convention Center. APIIT/UCTI took part in the event and they booked a total of ten booths. According to what I heard that every now and then there will be competitions to compete among the college/universities for the best booth design. The college did spend a large sum of money in designing the booth and in my point of view our booth was one of the nicest and coolest around. *Grin*
This event was rather more interesting and challenging as the crowds were comparatively more than the previous two exhibitions I attended. Most likely because students who have completed their SPM would rather enrol for January intake unless they will be attending National Service or may have other plans/reasons. The enquires did not come from school leavers alone but also students who are still in high school, working adults and some from other colleges/universities.

During the 2 days event, I also made some friends from other colleges and also from APIIT alone. After end of each day, I went home and knock out immediately. I was super tired after a long day. Not to mention the Veet event was the night before too. I even missed my friend’s birthday party. Very sorry, if you’re reading this.
Veet Stand Out Challenge Event
After 3 months of searching for the girls with the “hottest” legs, they have finally come up with 10 finalists. The event took place on the 5th January at Preview Lounge, Cathay Cineplex. It is a private event and we girls are allowed to bring 10 friends along for the event. Each of us was given one Veet goody bag, inside with Veet products, a December issue of MYC! magazine and some other stuff.

During the event, all 10 girls were supposed to do a mini catwalk and also introduce themselves to the audience. Roxy was the main the sponsors for our clothes and the top they gave me to wear was quite big even thought it was XS so I had to shorten the strip, while the pants fit me well. There were few judges present on that day and one of them was Miss Veet 2005. The winners are judge base on the following criteria:
• Entrance
• Confidence Level
• Energy
• Appearance
• Style
• Poise
• Crowd Response
• Leg
• Online vote

Well, unfortunately I didn’t win because no longer look as lean as in the picture. Also I have not been exercising and also had put one kg. Anyway… After the event, there was a special screening of the movie “Wedding Dateâ€. Those who love romance story will enjoy this one and the main actor is super HOT!
He’s the same guy who acted in “My Best Friend’s Weddingâ€. For us to enjoy the movie, the organiser throws in some cute pillows and warm blankets for us, both bought by IKEA. I heard that the pillows are blankets are free to take home, unfortunately I didn’t get any.
Apart from that, there were free flow of drinks and popcorns too. ![]()
Overall was an eventful day, my mum enjoyed the movie and the best thing was my best friends were there to support me. A very big thank you for those who came on that day.

Celebrated Grandma’s 80th Birthday
On the 26th Dec, we celebrated grandma’s 80th birthday at a restaurant in Malacca. It was the day after Christmas and I had classes on the following day. Mum and brothers drove down the day before while dad and I only went down in the evening itself. We had a small reunion dinner to celebrate grandma’s birthday and also to catch up with each other. Usually the only time where everyone meets is during Chinese New Year.
