There are times when would just sit down by a corner and observe what everyone else doing. I see people come and go. Each individual, all so different, each of them so unique on its own. Neither am I alike.

And I go on pondering about life, things that have happened in the past, thing that are yet to come in the presents and future. There were many mistakes I made in the past, wondering where I went wrong, and try not to look back but ahead and move on. Trying to learn from it and just wish will never repeat the same mistake again. Oh how we human have the tendency to do things which we are warned not to do. How stubborn can we get at times. Very often, we tend to lose our senses and made foolish mistake base on our feelings/emotions. For instance, you wanted something so bad, but yet you know it’s bad for you.

When it comes to love, I have to admit that I’m no master in it. Love is such a strong word. It can either heal or kill someone. Can you really tell whether a person means it when he/she tells you “I love you”? Or are you just his/her another betting victim? Very often we misuse the word “love” and end up hurting someone, with or without intention. This reminds me of the movie “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days”, where the girl has to find a guy, make him fall in love with her, then get dumped–all in 10 days. I have come across guys whom I find rather charming but they’re nothing more than just another sweet talkers. They would try all ways to make you fall in love with them, promise you the world and after they have enough of you, they would just dump you and disappear. Not a single word from them again. Sound familiar?

When that happens, you just wish you could get away from home and probably go somewhere where you don’t come across any of the opposite sex (I’m talking from a girl’s perspective). Like in the movie “The Holiday”, when all you wanted was a lonely getaway and ended up meeting a handsome Englishman like Jude Law and fall in love with him. Oh how I wish!

Well, people tend to do crazy thing to be in love and to get out of love. I know I’ve done crazy things in the past. Like sending flowers or love letters/notes to someone I had a crush on. Sad to say, I’ve been through many rejections and it does make me a stronger person. I have to admit that I was young and naïve back then. Also, when I was younger, I was fat. Seriously. I’m sure no one wants to go out with a short fat girl. I’m sure you don’t, do you? Don’t believe me? Wait till I show you my pictures.

Sometimes, when I’m down, I would just switch on the radio and try not to think of the problem. Just want to be in my cave, away from everyone else. The songs that were played on the radio tend to make me ponder about it even more. That, in fact, what the artist sang is what I’m actually going through at that very moment. There are also time, when you think you found love at first sight, everything seems so wonderful and your problems just disappear. I personally don’t believe in love at first sight because it has never worked for me. I rather take things slowly and see how thing would work out for both parties. A friend of mine told me that, there’s 2 types of attractions - one is “love” and the other is “attraction”. Now what do you mean by that? Well, it is easy to get attracted to someone, but doesn’t mean you have love for that person. Anyway…

Lately, I came across this song by Jordan Knight & Deborah Gibson - Say GoodBye. I like how the song was written about a guy whom has lost his love but wishes to get back to her. He felt sorry for what he has done and didn’t mean to say goodbye. Ever wished your lover would someday come to realise that he actually made a big mistake for saying goodbye? Or could it be the other way around - get over it and move on? Read the lyris, it’s very meaningful.

One week ago, just before everyone self declare holidays for the festive season, my classmates and I had steamboat at Stone BBQ King, Serdang. Initially we were supposed to eat at another restaurant but it turn out to be full booked. So we go for the second alternative. Believe it or not, Stone BBQ King was totally empty and we were the only customer there. In fact, a large crowd, about 20 of us. Well, at least we did them a favour to finish some food so that they can restock it for the next day. Hmmm… Now I wonder whether are their food 100% fresh? Few friends actually told me that the food didn’t taste as fresh, especially the meat. Anyway…

Food, food, and more food. Notice the coloured drink, my friend actually thinks the green one was sugarcane. LOL. And guess what’s the item on the 6th pic? It’s actually butter. I’m totally serious! Hahah.. Don’t you think it looks like cup cakes?

We had 4 tables all together. Everyone is warming up, getting ready to cook. Yum, yum…

These 2 gentlemen was our chef for the day. How lucky we girls usually get served more than guys do.

Overall, I would rate the food and facilities as below average. Not recommended unless you have no where else to eat. Haha…

… I went to college alone, I had dinner alone, and I spend my evening with my sewing machine until late night trying to get my 7 piece skirt done. I’m totally serious!

I was supposed to meet up with a friend of mine whom had left New Zealand on Friday that week. I practically called him the day before to make an appointment, but he kind of forgotten about it and ended up making plans with his other friends. Our meeting wasn’t supposed to be a Valentine’s Date. Neither do I have one. It doesn’t matter anyway.

Anyway, I did receive something from my mum and my dearest on this special day. Not really on Valentine’s Day. I got it few days earlier actually. Thank you lots!

I’ve been dying to get my hands on this particular perfume for a very long time. Just that I didn’t see the need to get one since I already have a perfume and getting another bottle isn’t cheap. You know how one bottle may cost, especially the good one. My dearest bought from the duty free shop while he was at Langkawi.

Two weeks ago, my friend celebrated his 21st birthday at Shogun, 1-Utama. Shogun is a place where sushi/Japanese food lovers would love to go. If you are those who have a big stomach, buffet style is where you should dine. For me, buffet never work for me even though I’m a small girl with big appetite. Hahaha…

Our Maths Sifu, Mr. Saw was presents on that day.

And here is the birthday boy who just turned 21.

At the end of the session, the guys played the oh-so-famous wasabi challenge game. They requested the chef to prepare 12 sushi – 7 with and 5 without wasabi. So the guys will have to randomly pick the one without wasabi in it.

After dinner, we went catch a movie at GSC - Stranger Than Fiction. It was awesome movie! Love it! Go watch.

Two weekends ago, I did another TVC. This time it’s for Panasonic latest digital camera with built in wide lens and zoom lens. It was the longest and most tiring shoot that I’ve ever done so far. As usual, there were a lot of waiting in between scenes. On that day, we were told to assemble as early as 6.30am and we only got dismissed at 7.30pm. I personally think the amount we get paid isn’t worth our time. But the experience was unforgettable. The weather was good – no rain and was cloudy in the morning. The sun was only up by noon and all of us had to shoot under the hot sun without any shades. I was smart enough to bring my sun glasses and sun block along. Haha… At the end of the shoot, everyone either got sun tanned or burned. Personally, I like being under the sun once a while but not for a very long period. I hate getting tanned. That’s just me.

They actually serve different food for both extras and main role. So unfair!

These kids were so cute! Not to mention, the referee looks pretty handsome for his age.

During the shoot, I got to know a talent from United States. His name is Nick and he’s a film maker who shoots as he travels. He’s one interesting guy with great personality, not to mention has good sense of humour too. Do check out his video here.
