My First Online Bid
After Ringo launched her wardrobe collection at Cheeserland, I’ve been a regular visitors to her site since. She not only posts up her own collections for sales but also allows her readers to do the same.
Just last week, I received the Grey Scotland Skirt which I bid for RM22 at Cheeserland Wardrobe. Not forgetting RM15 for shipping cost from Australia. So altogether it cost me RM37 for that skirt. I’m not too sure how much would it have cost for brand new, but I personally think it was a good buy.

Like my skirt? Feel free to check out Cheeserland Wardrobe for other available collections. Who knows you might find something you like too.
FACON Education Fair @ KLCC
Two weekends ago, FACON organised a postgraduate Education Fair held at KL Convention Center. This event wasn’t as grand as Star Education Fair held in January, but APIIT/UCTI was certainly the biggest booth among other colleges. The crowds was slightly lesser compared to Star Education Fair. Probably because NAPEI was also having an Education Fair at MidValley on the same weekend.

On the first day of the exhibition, APIIT/UCTI booth was awarded for Best Booth Design. You wouldn’t believe the amount of money they spend on the booth itself, but at the end of the day I would say the investment was worth it. ![]()

Not forgetting, APIIT/UCTI also won award for outstanding booth in Star Education Fair in January.

Just The Two Of Us
Some people say the best things come in pairs, but sometimes you just wish that they didn’t.

Boring Landscape?
I used to asked Kevin, why he doesn’t take picture of landscape.
Me: Dear ah, come we go take landscape lah.
Kev: Nah. Don’t want lah.
Me: Why leh? Not nice meh? See “pointing at other photographers’ landscape photosâ€
Kev: Niceeeee. Of course lah nice. That one professional taken.
Me: Come lah, we go take.
Kev: Boring lah.
Me: Why boring wor?
Kev: Because so many people have already taken the same picture. Not unique anymore.
Me: =_=â€
———-
But now.
Kev: Dear ah, come we go take landscape.
Me: Landscape? I thought you never fancy landscape?
Kev: Ya, I know. But now I wanna try out a new technique.
Me: New technique? How? How?
Kev: HDR. It’s a combination of the same picture with different exposure.
Me: Ooooo… I see.

Anyway, check out his photos here.
Shopping During Sales
Have you ever bought something and later regret for buying too early? I did. Once I bought a jacket and after paying for it, the cashier told me that the sale starts the tomorrow. So now, I only shop during mega sales. Even thought many items are been marked down during sales, but the disadvantage is that there are not many sizes left. Especially for someone who wears XS size.
A month ago, I went to XOXO to check out their clothes. I’ve never fail to drop by that outlet whenever I’m at 1-Utama.It was promotion and Chinese New Year sales that time. And I found the same t-shirt which saw months back was on sales for RM30!!! Its original price was RM139 and that’s like a total of RM109 mark down. Wow!

So now, I tell myself that I will only shop for clothes during sales. Unless there’s only one piece left that can fits me.
Chinese New Year At Malacca
Like every other Chinese New Year, my family would drive down to Malacca to spend a week at my grandparents’ place. A little village far away from town, called “Tanjung Klingâ€. Malacca is a tourist attraction place, known for its Baba and Nyonya heritage and rich history. Life in Malacca is rather quiet and slow. A tranquil place for one to getaway and explores oneself. To me, Malacca can be a pretty “boring†place because I’m more of a city person. There’s not much of entertainment besides the usual pubs and shopping mall which can only be found in Malacca town. Not where my grandparents live though.
Anyway, my family drove down to Malacca on Chinese New Year eve and we spent 2 nights at Everly Resort Hotel (formally known as Reveria Bay Resort). A lovely resort but unfortunately the place was not well maintained.

That evening, we went to Jonker Street for countdown. There was lion dance performance and karaoke but no fireworks. Jonker’s Street, once the richman’s street is now a living proof of Malacca’s rich baba-nyonya heritage. The buildings are immaculately constructed with elaborate carvings on its pillars and walls. The street is also famous for its antique shops. Source

This year we had “Yee Sangâ€, which is something we don’t usually have.

My dearest drove down to Malacca on the next day. We went sight seeing and tour around Malacca snapping photos like any other tourists. Check out his pics here.

And this is my nephew. He’s only 10 months old.
