IFTC Fashion Show

April 14th 2007 -

Two days ago, on Thursday (12th April 2007), was IFTC very own fashion show, held at Sungai Wang Plaza. I was both nervous and excited about the event because it was my first fashion show after joining IFTC. The event was held in conjunction with the KL fashion week as there was a list of event going on for the entire two weeks. The day before the event, I managed to catch the fashion show held by Snips Academy. It was so beautiful, especially the hair do and make up.

On that day, I arrived at college at approximately 4pm and was soaking wet because it was raining heavily at that moment. So I joined my friend for a wash and blow session at Snips Academy at Level 4. I was told that the whole session will take about an hour, but I wasnâ€™t surprised because back at Toni & Guy, it took me much longer than that. After that, I went back to college to get myself prepare for the event. Everyone else was also getting ready â€“ changes, put on make-up and etc.

All of us gathered at Sungai Wang at 6.30pm while the event started at 7.30pm. The first collection display was by IFTC ex-student who is now a very successful designer base in Singapore. Modern high fashion kebaya made using songket material, simply elegant. Followed by IFTC very own young designersâ€™ collections under the few categories â€“ casual, fashion, formal and bridal. All the outfits look beautiful on stage, worn by our lovely models. It was an event not to forget.
