To Market, To Market…

… to buy a fat pig.
Home again, home again, jiggety-jig.
To market, to market, to buy a fat hog;
Home again, home again, jiggety-jog.

To market, to market, to buy a plum cake;
Home again, home again, market is late.
To market, to market, to buy a plum bun;
Home again, home again, market is done.

To market, to market, a gallop a trot,
To buy some meat to put in the pot;
Three pence a quarter, a groat a side,
If it hadn’t been killed it must have died

Okay, that was taken from a nursery rhyme that my mum used to read to me while I was a kid.

Let me change that.

To market, to market to buy some kangkung;
Home again, home again, jiggety-jig.
To market, to market, to buy some papaya;
Home again, home again, jiggety-jog.

To market, to market, to buy some sawi;
Home again, home again, market is late.
To market, to market, to buy more veggies;
Home again, home again, market is done.

Okay, I’m bad at writing poem. It just doesn’t rhyme, do they? Haha…

Anyway, the winner of the previous post “I Go…” contest is A-lex. Congrats!

… for his little dragon monster in the house a.k.a. Iggy the iguana.

Did you know, iguanas are pure vegetarians and do not eat meat. So don’t ever try to feed iguanas crickets or flies or anything other than vegetables and fruits.

And Iggy’s favourite fruit is p-a-p-a-y-a!
