PenDrive Ad Spotted!

Some time back when we were at Low Yat looking for some stuff, we spotted a large poster on the wall which looked very familiar. It was a picture shot by my dearest for PenDrive. Very interesting to see how the end result looked like after the final editing by the agency who did the advertisement. The only thing in the poster that he did not photograph was the zebra.

I made my dearest stand beside the poster. Hehe…

Another product that was shot by my dearest for PenDrive was the Nano Fruity. I spotted it on their website and banners.

Belated 5th Anniversary

Last Friday, my dearest and I celebrated our belated 5th Anniversary at Victoria Station. The event was three (3) weeks ago but since I was working that weekend, so we decided to postpone it. It’s been many years since both of us last ate at Victoria Station. Mine was ages ago. Victoria Station is known for their beef and lamb steak.

The branch in Ampang has a train-like interior.

This is escargot. I know it’s snail but it is one of my favourite appetizer dish and it is delicious and also pricey too.

I ordered chicken with barbecue source.

While my dearest ordered Sirloin Steak (not sure whether I got it right or not).

We had a wonderful five (5) years together and more to come. Love you, dearest. *Muacks*

Carl’s Jr

If you’re a big fan of Burger King, would you definitely love Carl’s Jr.

There were two branches in Malaysia, one of which was opened in Ampang Point, a shopping mall, subsequently closed in 1998, and another opened near Lake Gardens, which subsequently closed as well. Until 2007, no more locations were opened in Malaysia. Carl’s Jr. had returned to the market in Malaysia by opening a new branch in One-Utama, Petaling Jaya and another branch in Midvalley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur. Carl’s Jr. also opened another store in Pavillion KL, Kuala Lumpur. - Source

Carl’s Jr. serves their burger in big portion and you get purchase their sandwich at as low as RM7.00++ and their combo set can go up to RM20.00++. You maybe may think it’s a bit pricey for a standard Malaysian meal. Yes, no doubt about it. But at least with that price you pay, you won’t definitely be disappointed. The only problem you face is not able to finish your meal! Which happened to me the other day. LOL.

Their burgers were big and it did get messy.

Even their large drinks were huge. But the best part it, it’s refillable. Isn’t it fantastic?

Have A Blessed Christmas

I read that there will be fairy decorations at MidValley and so I went there to have a look.

When I was young, I used to believe in fairy tales. I used to think they were magical creature until I grow out of it. Nevertheless, I still enjoy listening to fairy tales and once a while I would go day dreaming of being in some enchanted land where everything were beautiful and all the little fairies and unicorns would come out to the magical garden and play. Haha…

I didn’t manage to spot any fairy until I saw a bunch of fairies seated at the center court’s stage telling fairy tales to the kids.

Then, I look closer and I spotted small little fairies on the trees disguised in red flowers. They were really small.

Anyway, wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and happy holiday! Have a blessed and magical one.

With love,
Celine
XOXO

Nanyang Education Fair 2007

Two (2) weekends ago, APIIT/UCTI was having their Info Day at the campus itself. At the same time, there were two (2) other Education Fair going on, Napei Education Fair at MidValley and Nanyang Education Fair at PWTC. I was assigned to help out at Nanyang. It was my first exhibition with Nanyang as I have been to several Education Fairs organised by Facon and Napei.

The crowds at Nanyang were majority Chinese educated. Not that I have anything against them but since the fair was advertised on Nanyang, I think only readers of Nanyang came.

Colin’s Launch @ Sunway Pyramid

Two (2) weekends ago, I was offered to work for a product launch at Sunway Pyramid (new wing) by a friend. All he told me was some new company that sells jeans wear, then only found out it was called Colins when I arrived at the place. Have not heard of it, so obviously it was a new brand and I was told that they are from Turkey. Interesting.

At the launch, our duty was to serve food and beverages to the people. It was my first time working in this line and I must say it was pretty tiring. Although we girls had the privilege to serve the food while the guys serve the drinks and do the cleaning, it wasn’t easy caring the tray for several hours. We also got to meet up with celebrities like Hannah Tan, Liang, Christien New and Lavin Seow. Not forgetting, the Fly.FM crew was broadcasting live there too! Just imagine if it was a bigger event like Oscar or MTV. Wow! It gonna be really crazy and wild. Not forgetting the paparazzi. Okay, there weren’t any paparazzi at the launch.

Many goody bags were given out on that day and we managed to grad one for ourselves.

That day, all of us were in black.

After the launch, we took a walk at the new wing and had lunch at Sushi King.

Since it’s the month of December, even the car park was filled with green and red lights. I’m not joking! Haha… Alright, that’s the parking tracking system. The green and red lights are used as an indication to show whether the car park is taken or not.

A sensor is placed on top on each parking lot, where the car is park. Once it detect there’s an object, the light will change from green to red. How cool is that? And I thought this system has yet to be implemented. Now I got to figure out something else to do for my final year project (FYP).

KLIB’07

Four (4) weekends ago, it was Isetan members’ sales again. I dragged my dearest along to KLCC for window shopping hopping that I would be able to get something that of great deal. As usual, we parked behind KL Convention Centre and walked to KLCC. Didn’t realised it was Kuala Lumpur International Batik (KLIB) week till we saw a large banner along the hallway. Well, I have to say that I have not been attending my fashion classes for sometime due to my tight schedule in APIIT, so wasn’t aware of the event.

Entrance was free and I must say the display was filled with lots of colours. Well, batik is known to be colourful. Oh, what am I talking about? Anyway, what amazes me are the things people can create out of batik, from clothing lines, home decoration to furniture. And in batik, it’s all about playing with the colours. Every pieces of are unique on its own, unless you go for pattern printing.

There were also some work display by the finalist of Piala Seri Endon.

There was not only batik & craft display, there were many other batik exhibitors as well as a batik fashion show display by various batik designers.

Doesn’t she look like Rachel Lim? Or is that her?

Freebies

After so many years, finally APIIT/UCTI is giving out car stickers and table calendar. And yes, they are absolutely free!!! I know, I know. Some of you may say, “Aiyah, give me I also don’t want la”. Well, it’s alright. At least they are starting to make car stickers and calendars which some other colleges/universities may already have done much earlier than us.

As you can see from the car sticker and calender, APIIT/UCTI is very proud of their “Award-Winning University” title.

The Xtreme Night 2007

Two (2) weeks ago, I attended The Xtreme Night 2007 event with my dearest at Bukit Jalil. We went there right after my duty at Facon Education Fair. The initial plan was to meet up with a Belgium photographer, Bart Lapers, whom my dearest got to know over the Internet. So apparently, the meeting was postponed because Bart wanted to attend The Xtreme Night event.

Anyway, when we arrived, we were having second thoughts of entering because the entrance fee was RM25 per person. The only reason for me to go was to catch a glimpse of some hot babes with long sexy legs. Mind me, I do look at girls, you know. Fact: Guys look at girls, and girls look at girls too. Haha… While my dearest went there to get some shoots of the event. Well, apparently it was his first time going events to shoot babes and didn’t quite like the outcome of the pictures taken. He was complaining about spending RM25 for some crappy pictures. LOL. Well, if you don’t try, you can never master it.

Overall, the event was much bigger compared to the one we attended last year. This time, there were more babes, more cars and more things to see. I would think the organiser probably had made a whole lot of money from all the car lovers and those who went there just for the babes. Haha… Come to think of it, I could have went shopping with RM25!!!
