Cat Got Your Tongue
Last Thursday Alex and I attended Cat Got Your Tongue at Heritage Mansion. It’s an event that Joyce and Rudy came up and put together. Mmmm… how should I describe the event. Erm… Yuppie, cartoonist, funky, fun, young… kind of thingy. And I think I fit in that category perfectly. Hehe… LOL. O![]()
Initially, there were three (3) other friends who were supposed to attend the event with us. But they couldn’t make it.
But it’s alright. I had fun actually that night.
Entrance was free that night for those who had make RSVP a day before the event. Else a cover charge of RM50 will be imposed.
The place decorated with toys and all. It basically brings in the mood, which is the theme of the event as well. We were told to bring a toy as well as to wear something bright! I ditch the toy and wore a Nickelodeon t-shirt I got back then. While Alex wore a t-shirt with Mickey on it. ![]()

Joyce did mentioned that they gonna be a kiddy pool. And there it was!

This little feller was the guard dog of the entrance. It’s a tiger, by the way. Hehe…

Oh, guess what? Cinderella was playing on the screen throughout the entire event. How cute!

Can you imagine, cartoon in a bar? Did I hear someone say… “Mummy, mummy, can I go watch cartoon at the bar with you?” LOL.
I was just kidding, kay.

There was also a basketball competition. A super duper mini one. That is. And winners is going home with a toy!

At the event, I made friends with some bloggers.

Meet Simon Seow.

And Thomas Yap. He looks younger than his age. Ooi AaronHo! Why you ffk your friend! LOL

Andy Kho, a photographer. Andy takes really good pics, by the way. ![]()

Richard.
Half way when we were about to go back. Andy smsed me and told me to drop by Sunshine. So we were practically club hopping and then back to Heritage Mansion after that. LOL. It was fun actually. Just to check things out. What more, Thursday was ladies’ night. So entrance was free!
Ride With PCC At Putrajaya
Small note: It’s alright one week since the accident. I would say I’m 95% recovered except for the slight pain on my right hand and wounds (that’s minor actually since there’s weren’t any major cuts. Thank God!).
Oh yeah. I just got my hair coloured! Initially, I wanted to go black but my friend recommended red-violet instead. Will post up pics soon. And I’m telling you, I’m loving this new colour! Just hope I don’t get into trouble with any of the APIIT staff. LOL. (Only APIITians will understand what I am saying here
)
…………………………………………………………………………………………………..
I joined the PCC night ride two (2) Thursday ago. It was the same week before the accident happened.
Personally, I never liked riding in groups. One reason is because I don’t like people to wait for me, knowing that I’m not a fast rider. But Kev always tells me that it’s okay to be slow because different people ride at different speed. But still…

Ride Comes To Crashing End
Small note: I have not been able to go online for the couple of days due to my phone line. It probably got strike by lightning or so during the rain. And I thought my modem was faulty and went to buy a new one. ![]()
…………………………………………………………………………………………………..
I did my ride as usual on Sunday and this is what happened…
Cel and Kev went up the hill to have ride at Janda Baik
Cel fell down and injured herself
And Kev had to fetch her to the hospital.
Okay, we did the usual ride from Hospital Orang Asli to Janda Baik. And I was hoping to catch my McD Breakfast before 11am. I thought it was alright to go down the hill as fast as Kev did. I was going way too fast while taking cornering and I actually thought I puncture my tires. I stopped and check then continue to ride on. Didn’t realised that the road was slippery and…
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang!
Everything happened in a split of second and I all I remember was I fell and it FREAKY HURT till bit! Okay, I’m a girl. So I have the right to be a woosie. Mind me. The were blood and sand all over me and I thought the damage was pretty serious. I was pretty much cursing in pain all the way. And on my mind, I thought “there goes my McD breakfast. *Cry cry cry*”. So much for chasing time, huh? And I seriously thank God for helmet, else I probably have injure my head. And thank God that I’m still alive!
Luckily there were some people around that stopped by during the scene. I guess I must have stopped traffic that time. There were two (2) ladies who helped to wiped my wound with water and tissue. As they were doing that, I was screaming in pain. I can’t remember the last time I ever felt this pain before. Probably many many years ago.
Kev managed to get a lift from a guy to get his car at the Hospital Orang Asli. While a couple drove me to the nearest clinic, there were another guy who was there that watched over our bikes.
When we arrived at the clinic, no one was there. So the couple took me to their place where they clean me up with water. The wound was still fresh and having to pour water to clear off the sand was really painful.

Ride Time: 2hr 16min
Avg Speed:16.2km/h
Max Speed: 53.3km/h
When the clinic opened, we walked over. At the clinic, the nurse gave me a jab and washes my wounds. And guess what? The total bill was only RM1!!!!!! Probably it’s a government clinic. ![]()

Of course, later I went to Pantai Hospital to take an x-ray just to be sure that I didn’t break any bones because I was having problem moving my right fingers. The x-ray show no serious injuries. Guess it’s just a little swollen. And the bill came up to RM131.90!!!!! ![]()

Didn’t occur to me how I managed to get these on my chest. There was also a long laceration very close to my nipple. I’m serious!

This is a right palm. It’s a little swollen. As for now, I won’t be able to carry heavy objects till the wound is fully closed.

The rest was the least of my concern. Except for the lacerations on my FACE!!!!!!!!!!

Will be popping pills for the next few days. Oh, that also includes medicine from my dentist. My wisdom tooth is another of my worry which gonna hurt like crap!!!!!!
Since after that incident, Kev been telling me these: “The image in my mind of you lying motionless on the road and groaning in pain and bleeding still haunts me.”
I guess I won’t be riding for awhile, till I am full recovered.
PS: From the pics I really look as if I got abuse or something. LOL
The Walk Of Happiness!
Last week didn’t go too well for me as many things had happened, although I had a a wonderful week to myself to do my own thing. But let’s skip that part!
One of my ways of releasing stress would be to take a walk. It doesn’t have to take place at the beach or any quiet area. Just having a walk at the streets, observing people and enjoying breeze is good enough to clam my soul. Okay, maybe I’m talking a little too deep! But I enjoy walking A LOT! It makes me happy. It really do.
Of course it would be best to have companion along.
Anyway… my friend accompanied me down to KL for a long walk after dinner. We practically walked the whole of KL. Almost! Okay, I maybe over exaggerated. Probably will make that my next target! Anyone interested to join me? Of course we will only do it at night else we’ll probably get roasted by the afternoon sun! Haha…
Following are the few places that we’ve been. By FOOT! Mind you. ![]()

Can anyone name some of the places that we’ve passed? Just the street name will do.
I may consider buying you a drink if you can guess it all right.
J.Co Donuts & Coffee
J.Co Donuts & Coffee have been the talk of the town since it first launch. And you’ve probably heard or seen how people queue just to get their donuts. I’m not a big fan of donuts whatsoever and neither a fan of queue up for my food. And if I do, it got to be DAMN worth it wei!

On Friday just before my school’s fashion show, William and I walked over to Pavilion to grab some donuts. Since I thought it gonna be so damn good, I bought home a dozen. Haha… Crazy, right? Well, the donuts does seem a lot better compared to Big Apple and Dunkin Donuts. It’s neither dry or oily. The topping was good as it is fresh from the oven.
I’ve tried Big Apple and their donuts are really oily. You can practically squeeze the oil out when you bite and their topping is 90% copied from J.Co. On the other hand, Dunkin Donuts’ donuts are heavier (as in, more filling) but not as fresh. Their topping are alright.

My Sunburn Got More Obvious
Had a short ride this time, due to the hot weather. We were riding at Putrajaya and there weren’t much shades compared to Janda Baik and Genting Sempah.
No matter how much sun block I applied, I’ll still get sun burn. Well, prevention is better than cure, right? But it’s alright. I shall call it, my invisible pants! LOL. Haha… ![]()

Okay, it’s ugly actually. So I’ll need to apply more whitening cream over the weekdays. ![]()

A Great Long Ride
My dearest got me another bike. This one is a hottie! It’s blue and it’s Trek 1500 in Discovery Channel team colors

And I wore my new Oakey shades for the first time for the ride. The purpose of getting cycling shades is mainly for protection. My shades may be on the oversize side, but don’t know how huge bug managed to fly in. Luckily it didn’t go into my eye like the last time. I’m totally serious!

The road along Janda Baik had a “Ketua Kampung” sign hanging outside the village. Pretty interesting.

This time round we had two (2) new friends who tag along for the ride.

And unfortunately both of them puncture their tires once!

It was the best ride I had so far. I love the hills! Looking forward to more. Man, I love cycling! It’s so much better than going to the gym. Honestly, it’s as good as paying for a gym membership and you get to workout for life! ![]()
