Once again, Time Out KL is proud to present to you KL’s very best and only stand-up comedy night. On every first Thursday on the each month, there will be performances by our very own local stand-up comedians, at Little Havana, from 9pm onwards.

Last month, the Comedy Night was exceptionally held on the 8th of January because 1st of January was the New Year and most people may be away from KL.

This time round, more seats were places in the hall due to the large crowd of audience turned at the previous Comedy Thursday event. LCD projectors were also used on both upstairs and downstairs.

At Little Havana, the place is divided into three (3) separate areas - The Courtyard, The Divan, and the Red Room. The Red Room, which is upstairs, is where they used to hold the Comedy Night event.Aside from that, on certain days, a variety of dancing classes such as - Latin, Salsa and Tango, were conducted for those who are interested.

At the Courtyard, people can hang out with their friends and enjoy Happy Hour or even have dinner after a long day at work. And if you do need a little more privacy, the Cigar Divan is a place to be, as it features a large selections of fine cigars and even larger Wine list from around the world.

This is Kel Li at the registration counter. Close to half the the crowds present that night were non local. Guess not many Malaysians are aware that there are stand-up comedy in KL itself. If you enjoy stand-up comedian like Russle Peters, then let’s support our local stand-up comedians! We need more talented people around.

Chi Ho was the host that night. Before he introduce and welcome each comedians on stage, he made some jokes to entertain the crowd. As the host, he did not put on the Ah Beng’s slang like he did before and the jokes the used were rather similar to the one we heard in the previous show. For those who have attended the previous show did not find the jokes as funny. I think they should only use the same joke once every 6 months or event longer, that way people wouldn’t remember it.

One month ago, I accompanied Kev and Bobby to the Extreme International Autoshow which was held at Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil.

The main attraction of the event obviously have to be the modified cars, but that wasn’t the only reason that attracts the boys to going. It was the show girls that they were hoping to see. Unfortunately, it didn’t turned out as what they were expected, having the fact that event such as the Xtreme Night were filled with hot babes with tank tops and super short skirts or hot pants. But this one, was far too little. Too bad, boys. Probably because the event was low budget and they couldn’t effort to pay to hire the show girls.

Anyway, the boys were there for the cars and babe. As for me, I was there for the cars, and the babes too. Hey, girls look at girls too, you know.

Most of the cars over there were either equipped with big LCD or huge speakers  and sub woofer. They all reminds me of the cars from MTV’s Pimp my ride.

Aside from that, some of the cars have really good air-brush work done on them.

While others would rather opt for a luxury make over with gems stones and diamonds. The more bling the better!

Or would you prefer more LCD TV instead?

Or how about some horn for a spoiler with star shape car exhausts? Too weird for my licking. LOL!

Short note: Hey guys, I know I haven’t been updating my blog recently. I’ve been really busy the entire month of December as well as this, and it ain’t getting any better. There are things to do but yet so little time. Lately, I’ve been traveling a bit, so do stay tuned as I have some blog entries to post up. On the 17th of December 2008, me and a group of friends were invited to attending Blanc Le Club at Herritage Row. The person who invited us for the opening was CS, whom previously invited us to attend the food review session at Bondi Beach Grill & Bar, The Curve.

Before the launch, we were told that the entire Blanc Le Club will be white and lighted with neon lights all over to get the really cool effects. We were also told that there will be a levitated DJ console which I think it will be really cool to have them, but I guess somehow they ditched the idea.

At the launch, there were many VIPs that were presents that night and guests were treated with free flow of beer in conjunction of the opening.
