The Pizza Hut ad is finally out!

See if you can spot anyone you know…

Two (2) weeks after the Pizza Hut TVC, I was offered another TVC job for F&N condense milk. The shoot took place at Putrajaya and shooting was in the morning instead. Going to Putrajaya reminds me of the time I used to cycle the 50km at Putrajaya. For this shoot, I had to wake up as early as 4am and last minute there were two (2) talents who couldn’t make it for the shoot and my agent had to help find replacement. Lucky enough, I managed to contact a friend who was happened to be awake at 4am in the morning and he was willing to give up his beauty sleep for the shoot. LOL. Come on, he didn’t even get to sleep at all. But I did appreciate his help for coming. From morning till about 8am, I was practically sending SMSes and making phone calls non-stop till I found another friend who agreed to take the job but didn’t had transport to come. To cut the story short, in the end, they didn’t need him anymore. Obviously my friend got pissed la. Come on, he was already getting ready and even called a cab, then last minute had to tell him not to come. *Very sorry about that*

Another friend of mine who once agreed to take the job then decline just because the shoot requires us to wear formal. =_=” No comment. Then there’s another another friend who was able to make it but didn’t want to take the job because he has signed a contract with his current company and that he is not allow to take up any other jobs. *ahem* *ahem* Oh well.

One of the main cast was this muscle builder guy. Forgotten what’s his name. He is supper big wei. Me and my friend were saying that, people like him is good to nice to have as a bodyguard but not as a boyfriend. Haha… True wat.

Let me give you a little idea of what the commercial is all about. There were these three (3) architecture engineers sitting at the mamak discussing on some projects . Then after drinking the teh-tarik, one of them got his inspiration from the F&N cans arranging at the mamak (which looks like twin tower). Then in the end, after twin-tower was complete, there was a open ceremony and all. Portraying success with F&N. Do check out the TVC on TV soon.

I’m deprived of sleep. Believe me, I am! I have not been getting enough rest for the last few days. Wanna know why?

Just two (2) days ago, I took up a TVC job. The shoot was for Pizza Hut advertisement, most likely another product from them that have something to do with pasta, chapati and dim sum. I don’t know.

The shoot took place at Mutiara Damansara, somewhere behind Cineleisure. As usual, there was a long waiting period. We were told me to at the shooting location by 7pm, they only start shooting at 9.20pm and it rapped up at 5.30am in the morning. I was feeling sleeping by 4am because I had to go for my fashion classes in the morning (although base on APIIT’s timetable, I do not have any classes on Tuesday).

This was my second shoots with Pizza Hut. First one was two (2) years ago.

Last Friday, my three (3) classmates and I did a TVC for Coke Eurocup. The shooting took place at Pappa Kopitiam, Kota Damansara, not too far from IKANO.

There were two (2) main casts for the advertisement and one of them was the first runner-up for “I want to be a model” TV reality show.

Some time back when we were at Low Yat looking for some stuff, we spotted a large poster on the wall which looked very familiar. It was a picture shot by my dearest for PenDrive. Very interesting to see how the end result looked like after the final editing by the agency who did the advertisement. The only thing in the poster that he did not photograph was the zebra.

I made my dearest stand beside the poster. Hehe…

Another product that was shot by my dearest for PenDrive was the Nano Fruity. I spotted it on their website and banners.

We all know that the Beckhams are one of the world hottest couple. Not only they are rich and famous, they even get sultry to sell perfume. Do you agree that sex sells these days?

If you’re a huge fan of the Beckhams, you may have heard of their first perfume called Intimately Beckham and not too long ago they have also launched a new fragrance called Intimately Beckham Night.

David and Victoria Beckham were shot by Terry Richardson, infamous for his semi-pornographic pictures, to promote their scent ‘Intimately Beckham Night’. In an interview for The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, David, 32, said: ‘Not many people see this side of us and I think that’s what’s great about having a fragrance like this. It’s a way of us showing our dark side.’ Touching and cooing at each other, the Beckhams insisted the fragrance was a joint effort. Victoria, 33, said: ‘I would go to the factory in Barcelona and work with the perfumers. David loved it because he got all these little sample bottles.’ The LA Galaxy star confirmed: ‘I did.’ Victoria added: ‘David and me, we are very intimate.’ - Source

Few days ago, I went for another KFC TV Commercial, same location as the previous shoot but short duration altogether. The only thing I needed to sacrifice is my sleep because the shoot was from 7pm until morning. My youngest brother tagged along for the shoot because as they needed a young boy around his age and since he has already finished his exam and all, so he decided to skip school the next day. Knowing my brother very well, he tends to get moody whenever he needs to wait for long hour, I informed him before hand about the timing and he agreed to take the job.

We arrived at the location half passed seven (7) and the shoot only start four (4) hours later. They should have stick with the initial plan of asking the talent to come at 10pm instead of 7pm.

Towards the last minute, my agency asked me to find a college male talent. I thought it was pretty impossible to get anyone to travel all the way to Kota Damansara at such late hour. I sms-ed few of my friends and to my surprised I received three (3) calls immediately and one (1) of them responded and came all the way from Taman Melawati to the shooting location. I guess people are willing to scarify anything for money. Haha… I am one of them.

I also met up with few talents whom I’ve worked with during the previous shoot - this and this, and to my surprise, they still remember me. I have to admit that I can’t remember a person name or recognise them unless I get introduce to them or met them twice.

We did the usual thing during the shoot, like walking in the background. But this time, during one of the scene, we were asked to stand up and dance. It was so embarrassing because there were customers around. The ad is about a person after eating the Cheesy Meltz, he gets so high and cheerful all around. Don’t miss the ad when it’s out.

Two (2) weeks ago, I was assigned to another job by my agency. This time, it’s for a Dettol TVC. And the shooting location was at a bowling alley, Summit USJ. The first thing that came into my mind was what kind of Dettol advertisement is that? I supposed we do have bacteria everywhere. Haha…

Few of my friends were there at the shoot because last minutes there were short of talents and had to get replacement for those who pulled out. This is really annoying.

We were told to arrive at 7.30am and the shoot wrap up at 6pm. I must say this is the best shoot that I’ve ever done, in terms of location and timing. Why? Because it’s indoor and you get to play bowling for free. But the not so good thing about shooting indoor is that some of us were freezing in there because its air condition. I was one of them. I ended up wearing few layers of clothes. Too bad I didn’t bring any long sleeve shirt.

Someone even named themselves “So Cold” while the other feller wrote “Sejuk Sial, Tung Ah Dai Lou, Sei Malau, Hao Loi.” Haha… Guess everyone else were feeling cold at the bowling alley.

When you’re at Hilton Hotel, the only website that is free for surfing is Hilton’s website! Like duh! So I was browsing through Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort to check whether the ads I did last year was on the website. To my surprised, it was!

This was my first time appearing on international ads. Although I was not paid for this shoot, it was nevertheless the best experience I ever had - being away from home, exploring places and cultures. It was fun and exciting, but there are moments when I felt very bored and lonely.

A month ago, TFS Creative sent me a sms asking if I was keen on taking the KFC Job on the 4th June at Subang/Kota Kemuning/Shah Alam area. I know very well that I will not be able to take the job because 4th June is the first class of a new semester. Due to some misunderstanding with my agency, I ended up getting the job. Knowing very well that it may be hard to get a replacement at the very last minute, I decided to go ahead with it. No complains, since I gonna get paid anyway. Usually lecturer will not be lecturing on the first day of class but rather giving an introduction to the modules and what to expect from it.

The shoot took place at KFC, Kota Damansara. Haha… No where near the place they mentioned. This time, it was the longest shoot ever. We were told to gather at 8.45am and the shoot only ended at 2am. Obviously all of us were not happy about it because the initial shoot supposed to end at 12am.

One of my friend who was on the shoot, his car’s window got broken in. None of his belongs got stolen but another friend whose bag was placed in his car was gone. I still find it hard to believe that of all cars, why his? What more his car was parked right in front of Pizza Hunt and there was so many people around. Even the police station was just beside the block. Unbelievable. The whole day, I felt really bad for him. But thank goodness, the production was willing to compensate the cost for his car’s window.

Reminder: Never leave your belongs in the car, especially where it visible to others.

It was raining heavily by 2pm.

This is the first KFC that I know of that opens for 24 hours.

As usual, there was a lot of waiting in between the scenes. One of my friends was caught dozing off on the table during the shoot.

This is KFC’s chicken chop. I wonder is this their new product?

Each of us was given a plate of KFC meal as props. Yes, is it eatable but it was not longer fresh from the oven. 2 of my friends were so bored, that they start playing with their food props.
