Facon Education Fair 2007
Two (2) weekends ago, APIIT/UCTI took part in Facon’s Education fair held at PWTC. Don’t be surprised if I told you that APIIT/UCTI took fourteen (14) booths altogether for the fair. The structure and design of the booth is no different compared to the one they used during last Facon and The Star Education Fair early this year. Well, from that I was told, quoting from what my boss said, “You got to spend money to earn more moneyâ€. I do agree with him on that, that’s what advertising are for anyway.
The other participants are none other than private universities and colleges, both local and international.

SEGi College had the second largest booths after ours.

And there are the Japanese’s universities and colleges.

If you do not know, APIIT/UCTI is very proud of its Awards-Winning University title. And this time round, we had won two (2) awards for Facon Education Fair 2007 – Largest Individual Booth Award and Best Booth Design Award. Yet again.
Presenting…
… our Software Development Project.

This is our group project for Diploma. This big mama, took us several sleepless night to complete and FINALLY, we had to see it go…
…for marking. ![]()
Yesterday was the submission date. We checked through the program and did our last debug before burning it into the CD. The assignment was over 260+ pages and hard cover binding cost us RM30. There was a project that is over 400+ pages, not too sure which group it belongs to.
Slight Relief
After having to burn midnight oil for the last few weeks, I finally completed two assignments (one of it was a Diploma project). What a relief!
But… I still have one more assignment due next Friday. Oh man!!! Guess it’s a college life after all. ![]()
For the pass few weeks, I have friends calling me up for a drink but unfortunately I had to turn them down. I do miss those days where I can hang out everyday and not worry about anything. Just can’t wait for this semester to be over.
Last Semester of Diploma
I’m currently in the last semester of my Diploma course and will be completing by end of the year before I start off my Higher Diploma course beginning of next year. Since my Foundation level until Diploma, I would say that this is the most hectic semester ever. It got nothing to do with the timetable whatsoever. In fact I love this semester’s timetable. Want to know why?
| Monday | : 8.45am until 1.35pm * |
| Tuesday | : 8.45am until 1.35pm * |
| Wednesday | : No classes |
| Thursday | : 8.45am until 5pm |
| Friday | : No classes |
* At one point of time, we had replacement classes until 5pm.
Cool, right? This is the only semester we were given 2 days off in a week. Like people always say, good thing don’t come easily. So in return, we are loaded with assignments and tests, one after another. Oh well. Can’t complain right? At least they gave us 2 days off to rest and finish our assignments. Haha…
Between those classes, we were given one and a half hour of break. I would usually head off to the gym at Enterprise 4 to get some work out done. I would try my best not to miss a session unless I have assignments to finish or due to illness. One hour of workout 3 times a day would be pretty sufficient to maintain a healthy body when accompanied with a healthy food intake.
